Do not miss this gem on the bluffs of the river in the Chattanooga Arts District area. We stayed at one of the Bluff View Inns,at the Martin House, and had a spectacular 2 day stay. The room was extraordinarily comfortable with a back staircase to go in and out of the room. This B&B was within walking distance of...

We stayed in the Hunter Room for 2 nights and it was lovely. Very clean, big bright windows and nicely furnished. The only thing which let the room down slightly was the small bed..apart from that our stay couldn't have been better. One of the best things about this place is the location, it's in a beautiful and safe spot...

My wife and I stayed here for one night on the way back from the Smokies. We stayed on the 2nd floor in the main house. Very peaceful stay during the week. It isn't a true BnB in that you get a voucher to the nearby cafe. The house was very nice, the room was clean, spacious, and quite nice....

My mother and I stayed for two nights in the Newell room in the Thompson House. This room is on the first floor so is good for people who don't want to do steps. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Kelley was extremely warm and helpful. Besides enjoying our lodging, it was also...

The room that we stayed in for two days was very clean. The overall sleeping ability was very poor. The air conditioner vented right above your head and constantly turned on and off all through the night. Sleeping without the air on was too uncomfortable. We had to turn our sheets around and lay at the bottom of the bed....

My husband and I recently stayed a Saturday and Sunday night at Bluff View Inn. When we arrived, Richard promptly checked us in and walked us from the main Maclellan House to our suite in the Thompson House. He was very helpful in showing us all that the Bluff View Art District has to offer. We stayed in the Thompson...

Stumbled across this place online while planning a trip to Chattanooga for a family funeral. It's a complex on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River just a few blocks from downtown, but with a quiet suburban feeling. (Our house overlooked a lot of roofs, too, so don't expect a panoramic view, but you CAN see the river.) It offers a...

We rate this B&B 3-3.5. The room was quite nice. The views were spectacular, however furniture did not allow us to take advantage of the view. The couch while a nice period piece, was not at all enjoyable to sit on. Shower head was awful and made it difficult to rinse. Sink didn't drain well. We loved the old house...
