This hotel was a nice place to stay and an interesting change from the normal, average chain hotel. The rooms are fun and quirky. They aren't fancy per se, but the one we stayed in was clean and comfortable. There is free breakfast included which was nice. The breakfast was a standard continental buffet style breakfast. The only real complaint... More

I am glad you enjoyed your stay, and happy you found your room to be "fun and quirky." We have many guests who are surprised to find a modern hotel such as ours in a smaller community, and our designers sure had fun finding unique ways to update the rooms during our remodel. I am sorry you felt some of... More

Stayed here two nights, wore industrial strength earplugs, was still woken up by multiple trains both nights as there are train tracks right behind the hotel and as the trains roll thru town they blow their horns non-stop. Got no sleep between 3am and 6am from non-stop trains. Also loud music from bars right outside hotel (karaoke at that) will... More

I am sorry your industrial strength earplugs still did not allow you to get a restful night's sleep. The majority of our hotel guests find the outdoor summertime music and Thursday night karaoke in our 445 Martini Lounge an enjoyable part of their vacation. Those who are more sensitive to noise have found it helpful to request a room on... More

Owners deserve a lot of credit for making over an old chain hotel into an interesting boutique-y kind of place. Rooms are very comfortable and decor is fun (motorcycle stencils, Mount Rushmore murals, postcards under the desk table glass). The restaurant and bar are still pure Ramada 1990 in terms of decor, unfortunately. Breakfast is adequate but with the wacky... More

We are so happy you found your room to be comfortable and fun! That was a top priority when we started our multi-year remodel in 2012, and we have heard rave reviews! The banquet facilities and our front patio area underwent major face-lifts this past spring, and the lobby, bar and restaurant are targeted for makeovers this fall! The hotel... More

Excellent hotel. Whoever chose the remodel did a great job! Our room reminded me of an upscale New York boutique hotel. Very comfortable. I must commend the staff who are delightful and super helpful. The young man who picked us up from the airport was great! He was warm talkative and very informative. A great guy. Breakfast was very good... More

Great location for visiting the black hills/badlands/mount Rushmore/crazy horse/pinnacles drive/Custer state park. Good food in restaurant, and reasonable breakfast buffet. Room was a little quirky, but comfortable with aircon, free wifi, 2 double beds, ice machine nearby (no fridge). Only downside was that we had a room facing Main Street and there is a bar/grill nearby which had quite loud... More

Good hotel close to the main street and convenient as a base for visiting Fort Laramie, Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse monument . The restaurant and bar were good as was the brekfast . Its well worth trying the hotel bar as the local bars close at 9pm on Sunday (they obviously dont need your tourist money.)
