Stayed at this quaint little log cabin Bed and Breakfast in a wilderness setting ! Heard the Elk bugling, that was awesome . Diane , our hostess was absolutely awesome.. Breakfast was great. The Scandinavian themed rooms are very nice. Met new people and had a marvelous stay.

We have stayed with Jon and Diane Van Patten at the Normarke Farm B&B during our last 4 trips to the Sturgis motorcycle rally. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and we feel blessed to have discovered such a wonderful place to call home during the rally, and at such affordable prices. We feel that...

This was my family's first time staying at a B&B. At first, we were nervous about the differences between a B&B and a regular hotel, but Normarke Farm was a wonderful first. The best part of our day was the drive back to the B&B on Nemo road and, of course, the breakfast. DO NOT get excited about a continental...

The log cabin lodge is beautiful as are each of the Scandinavian themed rooms. This is a lovely choice if you would like to stay overnight in the Black Hills. One night, we hosted a dinner here for a wedding party. The food, the view and the setting were perfect. The breakfasts are also wonderful. GPS is not reliable, so...

This is just a great bnb. The house is in a beautiful pastoral setting. The decor is totally consistent with its Scandinavian theme. There are numerous visual surprises that show that much thought and love was put into this enterprise. It goes without saying that everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were visually appealing as well as...

This place was amazing. We went with 4 other couples and each of us had our own room and bathroom. We had the use of the basement kitchen if we needed it. We rode the area on our motorcycles during the day and when we got back to the B&B we would all shower and get together in the basement...

Five couples rented this B&B for a weeks vacation in beautiful South Dakota. We could not have made a better choice. Diane and Jon welcomed us in their beautiful home and were fantastic hosts. Diane made the most amazing breakfasts which sometimes included grilled items by her husband Jon. We really enjoyed having use of a common area for games...

Diane and her husband pull out all the stops to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From table full of food with fresh coffee and cream, to the serene surrounding; it is an amazing place to stop for a couple days. The B&B is snuggled in the hills, surrounded by trees and fresh air. Diane and husband are chock...

This was our first time staying at an Bed and Breakfast. We were amazed how comfortable we were. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The gourmet breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. Diane and Jon, were so helpful with all their knowledge of all the tourist attractions and the safest ways to get to them. If...
