Unfriendly owner. Bikers beware! Tried to make us park in the mud at the end of his half gravel, half dirt 'parking lot' and when we didn't, came out the next morning screaming and swearing and swinging his fists at my husband. He only stopped when I tried to use my phone to record everything. Then he ran off and...

This person was not even a customer. Never had this situation ever take place. My website listed clearly shows gravel driveways. Never swung my fist at any customer in 18 years of owning this business. I would have to assume this is a customer or friend of a competitors. I can provide a list of my Rally Guest that have...

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Room was very clean and had a table and chairs, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom with shower and tub. There is a gas grill and a table and chairs for outdoor eating. Beautiful view off the deck! The owner was pleasant and if we needed anything, we just...

We had 9 of us on a week long Black Hills family vacation. We rented 2 of the two bedroom cabins and we fit just fine. There are pull out couches that the kids used and worked out well. We were able to use the bikes, pool, volley ball net, several of the lawn games, we grilled every night and...

We stayed in a cabin and a 3 bedroom suite with our kids and grandkids for our 45th anniversary. The cabin was a bit run down but very clean. I think folks like the rustic atmosphere that goes with visiting the Black Hills. The 3 bedroom suite was very roomy and had a gorgeous wood 6-7 ft table that the owner...

Stayed in the motel because it has a long porch with a great view overlooking the Michelson Trail. So cool to sit outside and look at the view after a long day. The rooms are clean, have a coffee maker and refrig, all we need. George is helpful with directions. Second time staying here, would recommend.

Nobody seems to be in disagreement about the location. These cabins are right on one of the main highways through the black hills and about as centrally located as you could get. Reading through the reviews on Trip Advisor before our review most of the reviews seem to revolve around the owner, George. Reflecting the title, it seems to me...

Sounds like they survived. Sorry they did not check out my website better as I list all the included amenities and things like personal hygiene products that I do not provide, everything mentioned is clearly described. Even bring your own pool towel. 17 years never notice the temperature above 65 degrees, in fact all summer several of my other customers...

I read some of the reviews and was a bit worried before we arrived. We just stayed here for 3 nights. It was perfectly located! We packed so many activities in because of this. We paid up front, like I've done for other places. We had a good clean room. We didn't have a chance to use the pool (too...

This is an affordable and well placed self catering base for exploring the Black Hills of Dakota. The cabins are quite small, although 4 adults and two children managed it for three days without too much difficulty. George, the owner/operator is somewhat reserved but really interesting to chat to. Fellow guests extremely friendly but not intrusive. The pool is spotless...

We stayed at the cabin for 3 days. We enjoyed staying there because it is a good central location for vacationing in the Black Hills. George was very helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and quiet. Laundry facilities are available at an extremely reasonable price.
