As stated by other reviewers this property is very clean the owners have thought of everything. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Doug and Mary are a wealth of information about what to see and how to get there.

Mount Rushmore is a must. Custer State Park and its buffalo herd is fantastic. We also went to Bear Country (just outside of Rapid City) summer 2014. It was great! We were afraid it would be tacky and a waste, but it was really good. A friend recommends Reptile Gardens, but I haven't been there for years.
Check with Mary and Doug at Trails End Cabins for directions, coupons, restaurant recommendations, and other details. They're great!
