Stayed here during our western tour. Close to Deadwood so its a cheaper alternative to the hotels in Deadwood. Booked a cabin so we could leave our items with no concern. The kids were given a prospector pan at the office and went to the stream to pan for gold. Unfortunately they didn't find gold in them thar hills but...

A friend and I stayed here for out trip through the Black Hills and normally I am a die hard KOA goer but this KOA was a little under par compared to the one's I've previously stayed at. We booked a tent site, and while the gentleman was nice enough to let us look around after the site he gave...

Clean but dated. Would not like to be here when crowded in summer. The office closes at dusk. Historic area. Read receipt info on your site map. Talk to lady there. Walk to old "poor house"... Great view of mountain. Many cabins to rent. We had RV. Make sure you drive only one hill up. I walked up three tiers...

Stay in a trash pit over this place and a dog will give you better customer service. Rude...aggressive..no concept of customer service. The grounds keeper has some issues he needs to resolve. He immediately started barking out orders.

Went at the end of August when us kids back in school. Stayed 1 night in a cabin - enough room for all 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. It had bunkbeds in one room and a double bed in another for us. a little deck on front which we enjoyed our coffee in the morning. Easy to find and...

The managers were very nice at check in and checkout, The laundry was easy to use and free coffee while i waited. The cabin was in the trees and I felt like a kid again. The TV in the cabin was a bonus. Deadwood offers many choices of things to do and visit and places to eat.

The owner needs to find a different business as he has zero customer service skills. The cabin is old and looked like someone threw up on the floor....ate the finish off the cabin floor..things are pretty old and some things look like from the 70's or older....I tried to turn a wrong way and had to back up my tire...

We spent one night in a Full Hookup RV stall it had great shade and and a wonderful camp site for the night. The staff was great and helpful in making sure our site met our satisfaction. We had breakfast at the KOA and the prices were fare and the old quality was good. Close to the Badlands and information...

Nice owners, but I don't have a lot of great things to say. Do avoid the the Hillcrest Meadows sites/cabins. They are much too close together & right by the noisy highway. Cabin was clean & blocked the traffic noise, but sitting outside was awful. Can't imagine trying to sleep in a tent. Clean bathrooms were nice & there seemed...
