Nice spacious park with well designed drive thrus.. water on three sides.. docks and views beautiful.. quiet this time of yr yet warm 70’s Walked the wide roads in and around plus green grass everywhere..
This is our 5th stay at this fabulous RV Park. Big open sites, very easy to navigate, good grass between sites, lovely staff, clean restrooms/showers, picnic table, large pool, grounds well tended, trash collection, excellent wifi. The park is on beautiful Lake Keowee. Peaceful and brilliant night skies. We certainly recommend.
This was a nice roomy RV park, lots of grass, but no dog park. The pool was very big and refreshing in August. We had a nice spot facing the lake. I did not have to use the showers or bathrooms as we had our own. It would have been better if there were boat rentals on the lake as we did not have one and had to drive to the state park to rent a kayak. Our location as nice as we had some shade in the afternoon.
Had a lovely pull thru site with a great view. Sites are a little too close for my liking, esp when your neighbors hook-ups are right near your awning area. Quiet park, great for boating or kayaking as there is a marina & landing on the grounds. The pool is large with plenty of seating but in the 4 nights we were here the pool did not seem to have been vacuumed at all. Despite being right on the lake, there is no real beach, just a place where is it risky to walk into the water because it is so uneven. Lots of grassy areas but inconsistently mowed. Observed one staff member speak rudely to guests who were waiting to access the pool after the posted opening time. Laundry room is large and clean. No shade.
We found here for a week and the bathrooms still haven't been cleaned. Most stalls do not have toilet paper. The motion lights constantly go out while you're taking a shower leaving you in the dark. The campground itself is clean, but it's just an open parking area. No cement pads for your trailer. The most unappealing aspect of the park are the high tension power lines buzzing above your head the entire time. We thought the campground was on the lake, but you have to hike down a very steep embankment to get to the lake. You can't see the lake from 90% of the campground. The store is extremely sparse. Went in there three times and even though the door was unlocked, there was nobody at the register. The park does have full hook ups and washer/dryer facilities. The pressure on the waterlines is extremely high, so make sure you have your regulator handy. I could see where this might be good for an RV rally, but this park offers zero shade in the blistering sun and because of the constant wind, it's impossible to leave your awning out to provide shade. We decided to leave early. …
Convenient, easy in and out and well kept. Seneca is nearby for any needs. Located on spectacular Lake Keowee it has an attached marina with a boat ramp and parking area with covered slips for short term rentals. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel drive through. They are long but a few seem a bit narrow. The private rooms in the bath houses are huge. They were clean and well kept but nothing fancy. The downside is there are no shade trees. Great campground, especially if you have a boat or Clemson has a home game.
We have stayed at this campground many, many times. We absolutely love it! There are not any trees for shade, but we stay so busy with the lake and pool it doesn't really matter. This truly is like a family community. The breakfast pizza is a must, ice cream, slushies and much more. The boat docks are really convenient and so are the gas pumps. We have even been there in the cold months and had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular!
The inter net has plenty of bars but no thru put, I could not even get my email. The cable is 6 fuzzy channels antenna is a little better. My site had 100 LB pressure but no water flow could not take a shower in my coach. No trees hotter than hell during the day. If you have a boat and want to be on the water and can accept the inconveniences this place might be ok
