Our bed had not been cleaned before we arrived. We called down and it was reported we had to come get fresh linens. We changed bed ourselves. Was reported staff came in to clean room on day 2 while we were out but the same peanuts were on floor that were there when we arrived.
Friendly staff, clean hotel. Hot breakfast served. Just 10 minutes from Clemson University. Price is much better than staying right in Clemson. Will stay here again on our many future visit to Clemson.
Clean. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants and town. Enjoyed our stay! My only complaint is this review having to be 200 characters. Now I have to ramble, just book the hotel, you will be satisfied. If not hit up the front desk, they will hook you up!
I traveled to Seneca recently and had not been there in a long time so I didn't know where to stay. I was looking for a place near a house I'm having renovated to sell. It had been many years since I stayed in a BW, so I was surprised at how well run this property was and how comfortable it was. Rooms are large.
We have a freshman at Clemson and are from Indiana, so we have no idea about the area or hotels. I saw that ratings on this hotel were decent. I knew prices would be inflated due to parents weekend and a home football game. We paid a rate of around $400 per night. This is the most disgusting room I’ve ever had to stay in. And due to family weekend, we had no other options. We walked in and immediately noticed it smelled bad. The couch was stained, there were stains on the bedding, the bathroom had a very dirty vent in the shower, dirt on the carpet, brown drippings above the sink, and a brown mark on the side of the tub just to make a few. I even got out the extra blanket hoping it would be clean so that I could have something to cover up with but it has crusty stuff all over it. We talked to the front desk staff and were told this “I know it’s stained, but it’s clean. Sorry.” They didn’t say anything else at all, just sat there. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay here.…
Great people and stay! Owners and staff are very easy to work with, they have handled a large volume of people joining us for many of our nationally touring concerts over the past 5 years. The official hotel lodging for the Walhalla Performing Arts Center, more information at Walhallapac.com
I would stay here again. Breakfast was typical, nothing fancy. Rooms were clean, beds are comfortable. Staff are awesome. Laundry and pool available. Would very much recommend. The only complaints I have are, carpet in room, and we had a room that had an adjoining room, but I didn't feel unsafe, and there was no smoking area with a chair, other than those small minimal things, that's all I got.
I was traveling with my 93 year old mother while on a business trip. The Best Western staff accommodated us with an Early check in so I could get to my work site by noon and an Extended checkout time so I could complete my work and be assured of Mom's safety and comfort. The staff is very customer service oriented went above and beyond to be helpful during our stay. The amenities were good and this is the first hot breakfast I have had at a hotel since COVID. One of the morning staff made sure my mother - who has physical limitations - was taken care of. She brought her a cup of coffee while I fixed her plate. It was nice to feel valued as a customer. Going the extra mile made an impression on us.
Pros: Friendly staff, great hot breakfast and the rooms were huge! Super comfy beds! The Cons: hair on the walls of the shower and the amount of noise that you could hear! I mainly blame that on parents letting their children run wild, at one point I thought they were going to come through the ceiling from jumping on and off the bed! But otherwise the stay was great!
Don’t expect much. Raw and simple. The basic of the basic Had a few questions and the employee couldn’t help me. She made an effort but was not able to help me out. They’re are serving full breakfast, which is a good point
