this place needs a major cleaning. Camp sites are disgusting with cigarette butts and trash all over the place. There are no fire pits and it looks like fires have been burned all over the campsites which would explain the dark sand at the sites. A lot of permanent RVs litter the place and help make it look old.

A nice place with friendly people. Quiet. They were still doing clean up from hurricane mathew but had the place in pretty good shape. A few nice walking paths and a small pond. Showers could be improved which is true for most campgrounds. Would definitely stay again. Internet was better than a lot of places I have been but could...

We stayed at this campground since Hunting Island was closed due to hurricane damage. The site we had was nice and beside the pond. It was a relatively quiet campground (except for a Sunday night when the neighboring Hispanics had a throw down next door). With full hook up and an immaculate bathhouse it is a nice get away in...

From the first phone call to the day we left the campground, our experience was awesome. We were first time RV renters and complete novices when it came to all the hookups and uses. The staff were so helpful and offered assistance and tips on enjoying our stay. We were visiting the area to attend our sons Marine recruit graduation...

A great, friendly campground. I loved the cat that came to visit. The showers were very neat and clean and the water was hot. We had cable and wifi right at our site. We visit a lot of campgrounds and some advertise wifi but you have to sit near the office or the laundry room to us it.

Camp sites are big and in almost complete shade, facilities are nice and clean. It's in a fantastic setting and pretty quiet at night from human noise but there is an amazing amount of nocturnal wildlife and insect sounds...it's really awesome. The downside of that is there is a lot of no see ums and flies during the day. They...

A beautiful area with lots of trees. Very clean. Friendly staff. Bath rooms were clean with showers. Dogs were welcome on leash. Close to old town Beaufort. About 10 miles to Hunting Island state park

It was a well shaded and quite campground, some full timers there but everything was well kept with very good wi-fi reception at our location. We had a full hookup site and enjoyed every min. of it! The office is a modified winnebago...nice touch. It is located near Beaufort and Hunting Island state park We will go back to this...

Nicest campground we have seen! This is a beautiful, well-kept campground. Our site was level, shaded, and very quiet. I was especially impressed with the bathroom. There was plenty of toilet stalls and private shower stalls. The bathroom was immaculately clean, smelled nice, and was well stocked on TP and hand soap. It even had attractive tile floors. We didn't...

We stayed here while meeting long lost family and exploring the nearby area. The owners were really nice and friendly. There were two lovely ponds, one with a boardwalk walkway, that we enjoyed. Nice walkways, and very helpful staff. Definitely recommend this spot!
