Resort was clean. Staff was friendly from check in, housekeeping, and check out. The resort is very kid friendly. Daily activities for the kids/family as well a water park. Onsite dining, tiki bar, exercise room, Starbucks, and gift shop. Most rooms also have jacuzzi tubs.

Toni (the shift manager) is nothing short of AWESOME! She was a delight to work with. Being a business owner, it's not easy finding a leader like Toni who sets a great example for others to follow!! The rest of the staff was also great, very courteous and polite! Rooms were very clean and service was spot on. We had everything we needed in our room to make our family feel like home while on vacation. Beach is super clean, pools and water park were as well. Tons of stuff for the kids to do. They had a blast doing all the Easter programs. We will be coming back next year for sure! Toni save my room!! (aka not the real Ben Affleck)

Great place to stay, would definitely recommend to someone and can't wait till my next visit. Algae, was a great help and very friendly. Parking was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a little dirty but the outside bar was great.

The place is beautiful, just dirty everywhere. They should do a deep cleaning at the entire building. Very nice swimming pools outdoors but they were cold. Nice indoor lazy river/ water park, but just dirty everywhere.

My family and I visit the beach yearly. We always stay at the Dunes. It is the BEST hotel in all of North Myrtle Beach. In addition to the dual water parks for our son's entertainment, my husband and I enjoy the adult accommodations as well. The Tiki Bar has delicious mixed drinks and nachos! Besides check-in and check-out, I've never had to interact with hotel staff during my prior stays. I had a very minor issue and called the front desk for assistance. I spoke with, Laporcha, the manager. She was overly kind and apologetic. She solved my issue without hesitation. I was upgraded to a much larger room with an oceanfront view... The following day, I ran into an issue with handicap parking. (I recently had a kidney/pancreas transplant.) She greeted me at the front desk with a smile and quickly solved this issue as well. I explained how important guest services and hospitality are to me, as I spent almost seven years as an Assistant General Manager of an Extended Stay Hotel. Customer service can make or break an establishment as a whole. Ms. Laporcha treated me exceptionally. It almost seemed as if I were at home. The kindness, gratitude, and hospitality that my family and I were shown was SUPERB. We will certainly continue to book our yearly getaways with The Dunes Village Resort!…
