I know that the "01" rooms are corners with some of the best views. I usually rent through an agent like Elliot Realty, or using VRBO, to find owner units. It seems to me that the owners take care of their units and you have a better chance of a nicer condo. Both these sites also have pictures of the actual units. I stayed in an "03," I think it was 603 and it was great. Not like a 5 star resort but a nice beachfront unit. If you go on Elliot realty's site, they have pictures and descriptions of both the condos in question.
Hope this helps. I go to the beach a lot and love it!.
