This was an amazing experience. We had a suite at the penthouse level that had breathtaking views of the ocean. Room, pool, beach and staff were all great. Close walk on the boardwalk to fun things to do on the strip and many excellent restaurants. Thanks so much.

22 Ocean view is a wonderful hotel Resort we stayed in the ocean front view suite and it was spectacular. We had a corner suite so it was like a panoramic view, very large. The balcony was perfect, nice and long. We stayed in a three bedroom two bathroom suite, that offers plenty of space and each room has a T.V., with full kitchen and plenty of sitting. Very clean and safety measures superb! They have sanitizing dock stations at the elevator and they have them at the pool area; everyone was wearing a mask and only up to 4 to 6 people in the elevator at a time with markers on the floor for where to stand. Now the valet parking staff was straight on point!!! Those guys should be managers; they knew how to make sure everyone is well treated, and everyone feel special. They asked me was I celebrating anything? I told them my 50th birthday and from there they took over; each time I left they said happy birthday and they remembered my name; they even went out of their way and placed an envelope under my door with everyone signing happy birthday from the staff, then went above and beyond and purchase me a small gift (which was the most Precious thing I ever experienced) with a card inside with everyone’s signature! They really brought joy to my heart and made my time on vacation For my special birthday worthwhile and even more special! They also gave recommendations of restaurants and areas to visit I must say the staff was really on point with excellence! I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come again. The reason for a four rating is because you have to park across the street, And walk back, but due to COVID-19 they were not valet parking so I’m sure if they could have valet parking it would’ve made it all a lot better.

This was a beautiful hotel. We were immediately of the beach, across from some great restaurants and within walking distance of a lot of places for family fun, shopping, dining out, and touristic adventures! The hall at the elevator area had a nice skyline view of the city. Then, our room had a tiny balcony that allowed us to view the beach, as well as some of the "street life," but it had everything a family could need (except maid service--that was provided every FOURTH day of stay). It had a large comfortable bed, a full kitchen complete with dishes, utensils, pots & pans, a dishwasher, microwave, stove, full size refrigerator, a washer & dryer, a small dining table, lounge chair & bench, a safe, hairdryer, and the usual complimentary mini bars of soap, mini bottles shampoo/conditioner/lotion, a one load pouch of laundry detergent, a mini bottle of dish detergent & (I think) it was two pods for the dishwasher (maybe three). There was several indoor pool & jacuzzi areas, bar near the pools and a beautifully decorated lobby area. I would love to come back again, but without the kiddos 😁.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Ocean 22. We came right after they opened from COVID during the week of Memorial Day and they made sure the hotel followed social distancing guidelines as well as have hand sanitizing stations at major entry and exit locations. We stayed in room 2402- a one bedroom partial oceanview corner room. We really enjoyed this room because we could see the ocean but also the view of the city. Our room had a private balcony and we were located on the very top floor of the hotel. Sasha and Shondra were very nice and helpful during check in and check out. The front desk staff were very nice and even the pool staff were nice and made sure to wipe down highly touched areas frequently. I felt this hotel did everything it could to keep the guests happy and feel safe with everything going on. I would definitely stay here again and also stay in the same room!

This is my first time visiting Myrtle Beach In South Carolina. I stayed 10 nights at Ocean22 which is located on the beautiful Myrtle Beach, a small block away from restaurants and bars. My 1 bedroom suite has a balcony facing the ocean which is so lovely. The weather during Christmas week was surprisingly sunny and warm which enabled me to dine at the balcony, listening to the waves soundscape all day. The beach is kept clean. The Resort’s exterior and interior were kept clean and maintained. Internet speed was good. Resort staff were pleasant. Offsite parking is a block away but the parking structure was kept clean with security patrolling everyday. The resort room was kept clean. 🙁The bedroom’s walls could have been better insulated for a good night sleep 🙁 Some inconsiderate guests smoked in the nearby balcony which restricted my ability to keep sliding door open for ocean air.

We have stayed multiple times at Oceans 22 and have enjoyed every visit!! The staff is friendly, caring and treat you like family. The units are well cleaned/sanitized and Housekeeping always keeps towels, supplies stocked in the units. Oceans 22 is conveniently located within walking distance to several restaurants, a mini golf course, and the Boardwalk yet it is still quiet to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. We have stayed at the other two HGVC locations and Oceans 22 is our favorite!

If you are looking for an exceptional elegant resort. Ocean 22 is by far the best we hve stayed at in the 10 years visiting Myrtle Beach. Hilton has done great. The ocean view was great. We look forward to returning soon.

We just left after another great stay at this hotel. There are too many pro’s to mention… we had a beautiful 2-bedroom suite, which was clean and had everything we could have asked for. The location is fantastic, great beach and close enough to the strip are to walk, but just removed enough that you’re away from all the noise.
Our major complaint, and this is extra frustrating, as elite members we’ve given this SAME feedback the last two summers…. The oversight at the pool area is horrific. There is absolutely nothing done to enforce the use of the pool for guests only. There are signs that say guests must have an armband, but there’s no one there to actually enforce it. We watched people all day, everyday walk in from the side entrances and set up. In fact one day I was walking to the beach and a woman stopped me and asked “Is this Ocean 22?” After I said “yes”, I overheard her say to her huge family…”this is the hotel where you can get into their pool for free. “ 😫
As such, the pool is beautiful in the morning, and really dirty by the end of the day, with wet towels, cups and trash everywhere. The pools are crowded and full of people that cares less about the property.
Also, I encountered “Sierra” 3 days during our visit, passing out towels, and she might be the most miserable individual I’ve ever met at a Hilton. No response to “good morning”, “hello”, or even “thank you”. She looked legitimately annoyed when we approached her for towels. I know that help is in short supply, but she is a representative of the Hilton Brand, and may need a refresher on what working in the *hospitality* industry entails.
In short… the property is outstanding, but the consistent issues at the pool really need to be addressed. The current processes are extremely unfair to members who pay a lot, and significantly look forward to their time at Ocean 22.

Clean spacious rooms, friendly staff. The hotel is located on a quieter beach, where I was able to bird watch in the morning. There are great restaurants nearby and the main boardwalk is within walking distance. They also had wheel chairs available for the beach and other excursions which was a plus. A small complaint is that I had to crane my neck and look around the corner to see the ocean in my “ocean view” room. Also, the garage location was inconvenient since a member of my group has mobility limitations.

Is in a great location, check in was easy and staff was welcoming and friendly throughout visit. Has a resort fee, but it includes parking so that was good because with COVID, not many amenities accessible. We were on the 14th floor in oceanfront unit. Beautiful view. Unit was clean and there was maid service in the middle of the week. Unit was clean and it was quiet until the last day when some young people (from the sound) were in the next unit and you could hear them pretty good. Wifi is ok, but not real good for streaming. And the tv in the living room was on the wall which made the HDMI access almost impossible. No smart tvs! However, they do provide free DVD rentals. Nevertheless, you cannot beat the location and the hospitality of the staff.

The parking lot is about a block (maybe 2?) behind the hotel. You can park at the entryway of the hotel to check in and unload your luggage and they will direct you.
