Wanted the grandbaby to experience a Mrytle Beach from the past. What fun at an affordable rate. A little disappointed in downtown but the beaches were all we needed. The splash pool was a big hit. Great people running the resort.

I don't think you have to be 21,(You would have to ask the campground). You do have to have a credit card and yes they do have tent camping.

Hi Beth, After reading your review, was wondering what campground that was nearby that you would recommend, since the golfcarts were a problem in Pirateland - not looking forward to that! Any info would be greatly appreciated!
