Having called in advance to reserve a site for our 42ft 5th wheel for the month of April, they chose to put us inland near the woods which was made for a smaller camper. We had to make it a pull thru cause couldn't back in with two trees one on each side of the road. Very hard for large...

This campground has the potential to be nice but needs upgrading. The laundry room was unclean the whole month we were there. There was no change machine or bathroom in the laundry room. There was a bathroom and change machine in the store but the store was closed while we were there. The entrance to the beach and the fences...

We stayed 4/8-4/15 on site 93 approx 5 spots from the beach. I Have to admit on day 1 I hated the place and was ready to book somewhere else. The sites are insanely close, trying to back in w/o having the people a cross from you move their vehicle is nearly impossible, the golf cart rule is not enforced...

We booked about 3 weeks prior to Easter so I knew I wasn't going to be getting a choice spot. That said, I didn't expect to have to wiggle my 35' camper between two trees and several trucks and kids to park it. We asked the neighbors if they could move their truck up just a bit so it would...

Was told on the phone that they could accommodate our 42ft 5th wheel trailer. After checking in and traveling without an escort to what was suppose to be our site we were put on site that was too short for our trailer. Had to make a call to the front desk and ask for another site the front desk was...

Thank you for reviewing your stay. We're sorry it did not meet your expectations. We do try not to put campers that large in the inland area because it is difficult to navigate, especially when we are as busy as we were for spring break. Our reservation agent should have either told you we could not accommodate that unit, or...

Booked a campsite for 6 days (week of Easter) . Got there and they made a mistake, their records showed it was for 4 days. Only way we could stay 6 was to set up for the 4 days and then move to another site for the other 2 days. We were with camping friends as well. The other 2...

Thank you for staying with us. I'm sorry about the inconveniences you incurred. Without more information I cannot look up the reservation to see exactly what happened in this case but generally we send confirmations to guests after reservations are made so the dates can be double checked to ensure accuracy. We were not authorized to book any sites in...

This was our first time visiting Pirateland. We camped in a 20' tag along. The campground was busy but not at full summer crowd levels. The snack bar, store, game room and store were open during the day on Saturday. All were clean and nice. We had a premium back in site near one of the lakes. We loved the...

This is a beautiful park and located right on the beach. The staff was always polite and friendly and the front gate gentlemen always are their to great you with a smile. Sites by the water are worth the extra money and book well in advance. I'll definatly return but would come in a warmer month next time. thanks Pirate...

Love camping here. Nice water park and beach access. They have tent sites, camper sites and villas for rent. They also have golf carts for rent and a convenience store inside the park. It's a great place to bring the kids.
