Hurricane Matthew caused mandatory evacuations, and a state of emergency making it impossible to get into Myrtle Beach for the reservation. Do you think because it was impossible for a guest to get to the property that they would refund a cancelled reservation? NOPE. I wish I had the option to get to the Virginian, which would have been VACANT... More

The room was a good size but the stairwell was filthy. The beds were made but I could tell the floor had not been swept. All the electrical sockets were hanging out away from the walls. It really needs to be cleaned up. There was a lady in a wheel chair out in the parking lot begging for money. Would... More

It was functional. The WiFi was weak. The little card you put on the door for housekeeping blows off in the wind, and then you don't get the room cleaned. But, if you ask for more towels and toilet paper, they will give it to you. The people that worked there were pretty helpful if you asked for something. The... More

When we arrived at 12 in the afternoon the lobby was locked and looked like nobody was even working at the hotel. There was a sign that said check in at 2 so we drove around a couple hours and came back but still nobody was in the office and it was locked so my boyfriend started getting angry and... More

This place is disgusting. Made reservations on Booked.com yes I realized it was a small motel, but this place was NASTY. Pulled cover back on bed and there were bugs! Carpet waa filthy, covers had burns in them and sheets looked like they were dirty. Demanded my money back and manager gave me back the cash I had paid but refused... More

Worst place that I've ever been. It's run down, dirty, and creepy. The washcloths and towels had stains, there were no hand towels provided, the refrigerator didn't keep our things cold, the shower head was extremely low, we could see the day light around our door, the kitchenette didn't have anything to cook with (pots, pans, utensils), the vent fan... My daughter and her family needed an inexpensive place to stay for one night during Mustang Week. This was one time she didn't do her research, and she regretted it! This place was a disaster! They arrived to a place that was deserted...dirty laundry and trash laying outside. They thought they had paid for a closed hotel. After checking with... More

Check in was at 2 but the lobby was locked and unmanned until 2:30. Property looked rundown and shabby and we were wondering what we had gotten into. After dragging our luggage up two flights of stairs ( no elevator), we get to a room that the door only opened after my husband rammed it with his shoulder twice. The... More

When we arrived after a 10 hour drive. My first thought was this place looks like crap compared to all the other places around it! The stairwell smelled like piss! The one blanket had white stuff on it that looked like seman! We told management and they said they would be right up. When they came up they had another... More
