I was invited to go south, from Virginia to Myrtle Beach, to speak at a conference called the Gratitude Retreat, an annual event, going on for the past forty years. Myself and five others gave our talks to about 500 people. The event has been held at this Hilton for a long time.

My husband and I came for a 4-day retreat here every year. The rates were reasonable in the winter, the room was comfortable. The internet worked well. Breakfast is delightful! Dinner is plenty and prepared with care. Service is good.

Dear Stacy, Thank you for your feedback and your Hilton Honors membership. It seems like you probably stayed during the summer months, and yes Myrtle Beach is quite crowded from May through August. The chairs on the beach throughout the entire area are rented through the lifeguards and the city of Myrtle Beach sets the rate of the chairs and umbrellas. Our apologies for your room not meeting your expectations and we hope you would reconsider our property for your next visit to Myrtle Beach. We do have bigger rooms available through our Royale Palms condominiums located next to Hilton Myrtle Beach. Sincerely, Hilton Management

Do a lot of teenagers stay here/are there things to do for teenagers?
I saw only a few. There is a"lazy river " adjacent". Most of them were on the beach.

What floor and room number? Was it oceanfront.
Every room at that facility is ocean front. If you want to also view the pool along with the ocean, ask for a room ending in the 20's.

Hi Tanya, the water park opens on March 18th so you will be able to enjoy it! There are two heated pools; one at the Hilton Resort and one at the Embassy Suites.

I am not sure. I've always been there in late fall or the winter. I'd call the front desk.
