Most of the staff were very warm and friendly and the property is well-maintained for the most part. The location is also very convenient as it is right on the boardwalk, just steps away from a lot of food options and other entertainment. The internet quality is also excellent, which was a definite plus. However, there are some things that need more careful thought and attention such as the fact that the drapes cannot be fully closed. This is a major problem on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot where our room was as anyone in the parking lot could look in directly through the windows. The sheer blinds can be fully closed but that is not of much help. I had to use a large paper clip to hold the blinds together to block out an audience as well as the sunlight in the morning. In addition, the desk chair is extremely low for the desk and cannot be adjusted upwards. I had to stack 4 pillows on it to get close to the desk to be able to use my computer. I don't know if this is the case in other rooms but this makes working at the desk very difficult. There are no draws in the bedroom and for our stay, the bathroom was not very clean. We had to do a lot of disinfecting when we arrived. If we hadn't arrived so late (after midnight), I would have asked for a room change. Overall, I would still stay here again, especially if I don't have to work and I can get a room on a higher floor.…
We found ourselves stranded in Myrtle Beach due to car trouble. Needless to say I was stressed but from booking to check out the hotel team made us feel at home. Not only was the hotel team warm and helpful but the property was extremely clean and well kept. The location is great for not having a car too.
This hotel is showing its age, or wear and tear. Not impressed by the rooms. The staff was nice and helpful. The location is fantastic. The boardwalk is right outside the door. The Boardwalk is geared towards young families with kids, lots of music and activities.
I had to find a hotel quickly after booking the worst hotel prior to my stay at the Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach. I called and was able to actually speak with a Staff member. Xavier answered the phone, very personalable and friendly in my time of crisis. He answered my questions very efficiently and patiently. My family and I arrived here early, about 12:00 since we had to leave the other hotel. Xavier was there, although the room was not ready he stored our things, and was very hospitality. We decided to to walk the boardwalk- which by the way is just a few steps away from the hotel. You have access to so many things to do! Margaritaville, The Hangout, Amusement park, Theaters, shops and so much more. Although we didn't have access to the beach, it's about 7-10 minutes driving. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. I also wanted to recognize Donna, Will, Patrick and Joe. Just great!! Let's talk about the room, clean and a great view to all the activities on the board walk. If you have a family you know how expensive food can be. Therefore having at least one meal covered is awesome. Breakfast is on the house!! We had waffles everyday, omelets, bacon, sausage, cheese grits, potatoes, and much more! The staff members are awesome and friendly. OH I SAID THAT ALL -ready lol! Ginny and Charlotte are very nice and are great with the guest during breakfast. Overall we had an excellent stay!! You will not be disappointed! Remember me on my next vacation, discounts always welcomed ☺️. Btw- you can see the hotel behind me. We were at a place call the hangout…
I called a couple of days ahead of our scheduled arrival because my boyfriend and I each had a reservation(2 different last names) and I wanted to see about getting our rooms close together. We were greeted at check-in by Donna and after an 8 hour drive, it was so nice to be welcomed by a friendly front desk person. Not only did they accommodate us with adjoining rooms but I just know we were in upgrade rooms as well. Half of the rooms face the street and half face Broadway at the Beach and we had a "lake view" room with a wonderful view of The Hangout at Broadway at the Beach, with fireworks we could see from our windows 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. The property is very clean and everyone is so welcoming and kind. We utilized both the indoor and outdoor pools, which were clean and the temperature was very comfortable. We definitely would recommend this property to anyone!! Such a fun, memorable family trip!…
Excellent customer service. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Complimentary breakfast and coffee/tea were great amenities that I appreciated. Would have loved to have a bar or restaurant at the hotel.
Awesome location- lots to do for teenagers at Broadway at the Beach. Clean room, good breakfast (love the waffles), nice pool. No problems at all. Check in was easy. They are pet friendly too- saw lots of cute dogs!
Great view of the lake and shops. Easy walk to Broadway. Hotel needs some updates where the rooms are located. Rugs were really stained. Room was very clean and large. The hotel was fully booked and still quiet at night. Breakfast was typical Hilton.
Was great cause we didn’t have to Uber around but ac in room would not cool it off enough!! We got the last room probably why the ac didn’t work properly!! We was right on Broadway property so we didn’t have far to go to celebrate the New Year!!
My husband and I paid $179 for a 1 night stay on a Thursday and booked a lake view room. I called to verify a check in time and was told 3-4. We arrived at 3:15 and were told the room would be ready any minute and to have a seat that someone would come get us. I went back to the counter at 4pm and the room happen to be ready at that exact moment. When we entered our room on the 3rd floor we quickly realized that both windows were blocked by palm trees and construction. We were not told about construction prior but I understand that it happens. The obstructed view was different. I went down to the desk and asked to be put in a higher floor. She said because we booked through Hotels.com and get “bottom of the barrel pricing, there was nothing she could do. Our hotel is priced much higher then that.” I subsequently verified that the room price is usually $103-$193 per their website. She told me that a parking lot room would have cost me more and they were unable to move us anyway because we booked through the other company. The hotel set the prices so I’m not sure how the price I paid was my fault but she certainly made me feel that way. She made us feel like our money wasn’t worth anything to them. The hotel lobby, bathrooms, and indoor pool were clean. We did not have the breakfast so I can’t review that. They did knock on our door at 10:15 to make sure we were leaving by 11am. The location is good for shopping and activities. We would consider this hotel again, but would require the room number 4th floor or above before we checked in if we wanted a lake view room. Our room was not as advertised by the hotel and they didn’t seem to care. Since we frequent Myrtle Beach often (mostly day trips) I was hoping to find a good hotel to be able to using frequently for overnights to avoid driving home the same day.…
