The room was okay, it was clean and no bugs, so that’s a plus, I wouldn’t stay again due to being overcharged (in my opinion).
It would have been nice to have been informed ahead of time. And when we addressed this to the front all they said was “well he’s not on your side anymore.” This was very upsetting.
Mind you my boyfriend and I work second shift so we are not awake at 730/8 in the morning thats mid sleep for us.
When we asked that housekeeping come back at a later time, they never showed. For the whole stay we did not get any house keeping service and had to get towels from the front which always was answered with attitude.
My last stay before this was so much better service And so much more peace and quiet.
The room itself was really good. Bed very comfy and shower was perfect. The WiFi kept disconnecting but there were several other guests so I definitely do not hold a grudge for that. It’s expected.
I do hope the next time I’ll have a better experience
Now, I can't wait to read one of their canned responses to this review.
The grounds continues to be perfectly manicured. The flowers, palm trees, and grounds looked beautiful. The cleaning staff was as friendly as in the past years I have stayed here. My 4 day stay was a joy! Also open was the hot coffee & juice machine.....at 5:30 a.m.!..... as I prepared to begin my 15 hour drive back home to Springfield, IL last Sunday morning. The young lady at the 24 hour window opened up the lobby for me to grab a "bag breakfast", fill my Thermos with coffee for the road, and fill a fresh cup of orange juice as well. Thanks to Amber & front desk folks?..... I will be back again!
Congratulations to all & keep up the great work!
This location has mainly construction workers who speak little to no English, and because of that he knows he’s going to have business and therefore doesn’t need to actually treat any of his guests with respect.
Jessica was the front desk agent who actually treated me kindly and told me he would care about the roaches and to document them and show him at check out (which was the next day for me) and she stood there and listened to the whole exchange between me and him and was sincerely apologetic.
She should be the GM.
She knows what hospitality is.
The GM not only argued with me about my issues but said all he could do was offered 10% off of my last night because that’s when I reported them, and that’s $10 whole dollars. For my 5 day inconvenience. I explained to him why I didn’t report them sooner, and that Jessica was the only one who made me feel it mattered, and convinced me he would care and want to make it right—she was wrong and I was right.
I was insulted at the $10 but he refunded it anyways.
I am beyond disappointed. This hotel was recently renovated because it’s a Wyndham property now—and the rooms were surprisingly very nice for the price. unfortunately the roaches and the customer service ruined the entire stay for me and my significant other.
