If you have business in this town, this is the only place to lay your head. Any other decent place to stay is 20-40 minuteds away depending on direction. Well, if you want a halfway decent room, try and get one on the lower level. Some rooms have flat screens, some don't. It's like they did a partial makeover for...

this place is very old but the beds were clean and the room overall looked clean my biggest issue was that the hotel was infested with roaches so I was not able to sleep comfortably and had to purchase bug spray to spray the room down and to make sure I shook all of my stuff out to ensure I...

not many choices in Hemingway. Suggest Lake City or Georgetown. No TV guide channel, pt staff inept, owner agreeable but not always present. Flat scree TV,no extra towels, no extra toilet paper, HVAC iffy

Was looking for places to stay for one night, pulled in and requested, front desk to show me a room and if I can check their Wi-Fi connection. Much to my surprise the rooms were very clean the Wi-Fi connection was acceptable. Thick fluffy towels and pillows, made this date very pleasant.

I cannot express how truly lovely this family ran establishment really is. I am very sorry I did not get pictures of the Coachman Inn to show everyone just how special the place truly is. We were in a stat of panic trying to find a place to go after driving since 3am and it was now 8pm facing hurricane...

This is the local motel. Husband and I went on a fishing trip on the Black River and stayed the night here. Great King size bed. We liked the hard bed so much we looked at the manufacture tag! All was quiet as I am a very light sleeper.....nice rain fall too. For the price you got this. Nothing to...

Had to visit the local funeral home (which was right next door) for some business. I had never been to Hemingway, SC and when I arrived at 1:00 AM after driving 6 hours I realized that this was the only local motel. I could tell it was an older facility and was a little nervous about that. After talking to...

I understand you pay a little more when you are in the middle of nowhere and there are no competing, but this is rediculous. Booking 4 to 6 rooms per stay ever 6 to 8 weeks, and when I asked to work out a discount they just laughed. $60 per night in the winter for a crack motel is crazy....

My wife and I stay at this hotel frequently because we own property and hunt near Hemingway SC. This is a family owned and run hotel. Older hotel but well taken care of. The rooms are very clean. The family and staff are very friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They invited us...

“We were in 101, which is a corner unit with parking spaces right next to it, but the door and windows face the pool for a very nice view. I would recommend 101 - 103. The rear of the building, all the parking spaces face the rooms and the rooms face a lovely grassy landscaped area backed by tall pines. So easy access from your car, with a nice view.”
