We stayed one night with 42 ft 5th wheel and full hookups. Plenty of space to get satellite hookup. Lots if mature trees with site not too narrow. Paved streets that need a lot of work coming in. You need a card to open the gates to enter. Lots of things to do within 5 min.

We're here at the South of the Border Motor Lodge - and it is ADORABLE. The motor lodge is undergoing renovations right now so gone, at least in our king room, are the wood paneled walls and the avocado or orange shag carpeting. Remaining, however, are gentle reminders of the heyday of the the 1960's Motor Lodge: Offbeat square light...

The rooms were expensive. Walked in the room and it smelled and was freezing. The top of the fridge was gross and the bathroom was dirty. I didn't want to take a shower or touch anything. I have been driving for hours and just wanted to sleep comfortably. I guess I was wrong. Never will I come back.

Great room, 1950's and very well maintained, great shower, good bed and really big room. Lots to do across in the whole complex. Neon everywhere. Has lots of touristy trap kind of items, but lots of fun. Can keep the kids occupied for hours. Carports outside each room.

Really ticks me off when the trees need to be trimmed back so the branches do not scrape along the sides of the RV. The check in went smooth, the site was clean and fairly level. Water, sewer, and electric were fine. The RV Park roads are pretty narrow, as are the sites, we had to pull up and backup...

The price was right, and the campground is just what we expect when just looking for a place to rest. We have no interest in the rest of the South of the Border experience. PROS: - Level sites. - Never crowded. - Great WiFi. - Clean restrooms. - Reasonable cost. CONS: - It ain't beautiful, but we usually arrive at...

3rd time staying at Camp Pedro located at South of the Boarder - Dillon South Carolina and still amazed how nice it is. Super clean campground with long level sites. Extremely inexpensive for what you get. Spend time shopping or eating at one of many places available. Very safe and quite.

We were determined to make it another 8 hours on the highway. Nope. Closest civilization was south of the border motor lodge. It is literally straight out of the 70's. It was night so the neon was lit up! And I mean lit up! What fun. The room was right out of the Brady bunch but extremely well maintained and...

My dad says that it looks exactly the same as when he went on a family vacation here in the 70s. I went a few years ago and I love it because it's strange and interesting. The reptile house is cool too. I hope it'll be around for a long time. It being run-down is what makes it so charming...

Reserved online room was waiting. Staff was very helpful and room was just right.pool was clean and staff provided extra towels when we came in just for using at the pool. Restaurant food was very good. All around great experience. Would reccommend to anyone who wants clean room and some shopping as well as a good meal.
