Overall much nicer than average Hampton Inn. Microwave & mini fridge in room, coffee maker, iron and board. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, hairdryer. Shower, no tub, no room safe. Plenty of bathroom, counterspace (amazing for today's hotels). Lots of towel bars in the bathroom (also amazing). Blackout curtains Lots of electrical outlets and USB ports Quiet -no outside, corridor, or room-to-room noise. Tiny fitness room but does have a Pelaton bike. Valet parking only. Nearby city self-parking pay structures. Great location on Reedy River walk. Lots of great restaurants in walkable distance.

I've stayed here a couple of times while seeing performances at the Peace Center (This time "Wicked"). I strongly recommend this Hampton Inn right in the heart of town. It's within easy walking distance of the theatre and Main Street pubs/restaurants. The rooms are perfect, and the bathrooms are immaculate. Valet parking at $25 is a bit steep; try the piblic parking next door for $7.

The Hotel was in a great location within walking distance to many of the downtown attractions, restaurants and shops, and just steps from the Riverfront walkway. We stayed Thurs-Sun in #304, a panoramic glass suite which provided plenty of space for my wife, son, and I; with a separate bedroom, sleep sofa, and additional TV and half bath. While those rooms do not offer a river view, we found it comfortable and very quiet while conveniently close to the elevator/stairs and away from ice and vending. The $7 self parking with in and out using a key-card provided at check-in worked fine except the third day when I had to get another key, although the desk clerk informed us that if you have a problem getting out you can just press the call button and explain to the parking attendant that you are a hotel guest and they can buzz you out. The breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn buffet and the attendant is very nice and quick to resupply items. We found all the hotel staff encountered to be friendly and helpful with maid service provided upon our request.

We stayed here during a big opera concert weekend, and boy, did we pay for it. Not familiar with the opera event schedule and coming from New England, I planned a visit with our son at a college in the area. Hotel rates were almost tripled, so keep your eye on prices during the booking process! Front desk, breakfast, and valet service were all friendly, but the total price I paid for a double room for two nights was steep for not getting a visit from housekeeping at ALL. Housekeeping at the hotels I’ve been to in the last year or so at least check the towel supply and refresh it if needed, trash gets emptied, and beds are usually straightened (not changed) every day. A little daily room cleaning and refresh would be welcome during the cold/flu season. At this hotel, we were informed that housekeeping comes every other day, so anyone staying one or two nights doesn’t get any sort of cleaning. Coming back to an unmade bed and towels piled in the shower after a busy day out wasn’t ideal.

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. It was so nice to go down by the water everyday for a walk. It is close to countless restaurants. There is very little need to drive if you don’t want to. Highly recommend the circular room. Lots of space, including a powder room which was handy. Loved the floor to ceiling windows, as did our dog. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and obviously cared. The only initial issue was parking. Valet parking was pricey, especially for a long stay. When we arrived it was unclear if we could unload and where to park. The person at reception said we would get towed if we were there for more than 10 minutes and to ask the valet about parking. The valet however, was running to fetch cars. It was frustrating and unhelpful after a very long day of driving. It was the valet at the nearby Embassy Suites that very helpfully told us not to worry about getting towed and where to park. We ended up parking under the building in the paid parking lot at $7/day.

We arrived at the hotel before check in time. We were told by a lady at the counter that no rooms of our category were cleaned and ready. I asked if there might be a room the next level up that might be ready. Yes, she answered, we have a "River Front" room that is cleaned and ready. she stated "It is $100 more per STAY" We were staying three days and the amount, $33 per day per seemed worth it. I am an attorney from Atlanta. I asked her if she had something to sign updating the price difference. She did not. We went ahead and checked into our updated room. When we checked out three days later we were told the room rate was $100 more PER DAY. I went ahead and paid the bill because we had to get home and pick up our dog at the dog sitter. Once home I called the manager , explained the the hotel's charges and offered to split the $100 with the hotel. The manager would not even consider it. My advice is to get EVERYTHING in writing from Hampton. They do not play fair.

The Hampton Inn & Suites located on Reedy River has become one of our favorite hotels in the Greenville area. This hotel is exceptionally clean! It was so clean, my wife and I were trying to find dust in the corners. This goes for the common areas as well as the rooms. We had the suite with the 1/2 bath and full bath with a king bed and pullout sofa. The room had a great layout, plenty of outlets for charging electronics, and most importantly, a great view of the river and surrounding area. The mattress was just the right firmness too. When you sit on it, it may feel to soft, but when you lay on it, you will be supported and get a good nights rest. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the main dishes were different for each day of our stay. There is a city parking garage adjacent to the hotel and great restaurants within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful and always welcome you upon returning at the end of the day! You would not be disappointed staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites!

Pulled into the hotel about 6:00 PM. They have valet parking but just next to the hotel's front door is a entrance to the city lot, it is actually under the hotel and is only $7.00 per day. We are Hilton Honor members and booked on their site so check in was a one minute process. Our room was large and clean. Furnishings were up to date and not worn. Bathroom was the same, very clean with good water pressure in the shower. Our room faced the front overlooking the carillon, a tower of bells that play a different melody every hour from 9:00Am to 9:00 PM. Breakfast was complimentary. Waffles, eggs bacon, cereals...standard fare. It was good, and the staff kept everything stocked and clean. Speaking of the staff, everyone we encountered was very nice and accommodating. Really there is nothing negative to report on this property. To top it off it's location was perfect! Just outside the front entrance there were steps next to a waterfall, leading you down to the river walk. And it was a block away from main street and all it's shops and restaurants. And it's price was better than many of the other hotels in the same area. Definitely would stay again!!

Friends have telling us about Greenville for a few years and we took the opportunity to stay in town for a night on our way home. Great location in the downtown River place with several other hotels near the Falls, garden, zoo etc. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We are Hilton gold members and stay mostly at the Hampton Inns. This is a newer property with well trained and friendly staff. Everything looks very well maintained. Our room was set at 60 degrees, had to shut it off before heading to dinner, came back and set it to 70. Big new shower, asked for a got more towels, but king size bed needs a new mattress. Self parking is $7 a day, valet parking $25/day.

First time to this city and property...there for vacation. This property is perfectly located close to everything you'd want to see and do in Greenville. Staff was great, room was contemporary and well-appointed. We stayed in a suite and it was very roomy and the room rate was excellent for the type of room we had. Highly recommend this property although overnight valet parking was $25 which I thought a bit steep.

There is no bar or restaurant on the property, but many excellent options closely nearby. They do serve the standard Hampton Inn hot complimentary breakfast, which is very well stocked and attended to.

I would call the hotel directly and inquire .
They might be able make your reservation at the same time.
It's a classy HH and in a wonderful downtown area.
There are more places to choose from in the Greenville area.
