In need of a update badly . Our group rented three of the four rooms two years in a row . We over looked a lot of the issues last year expecting the owners to fix the water and roof leaks . But to our disappointment nothing had change . Water stains and cracked ceilings . Old worn sheets ,...

Granted, it can't be easy keeping a Charleston-single house built in 1825 in top condition, but an inn like this needs an on-site owner expending care and cash wherever it's needed. Otherwise, as we discovered, you're not paying for a prime experience. (And with these room rates, that's what we were expecting.) We booked the Lafayette room especially to have...

I had a king bed that felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The cement sleeper was happy too. It was not mushy and had really nice linens. The hostess was a sweetie she graciously located plain yogurt and had tasty fresh fruit for miss allergy. The egg casserole was reputed to be delicious. When we drove off leaving...

The location of the Keith House Inn is perfect - on the main road just a short distance from the Georgetown historic and shopping area. Parking is easy - either right on the street or in a private parking lot at the back of the property. And, we did enjoy the veranda balcony outside our room. However, it is a...

First time in a B&B. Robin is so friendly with the great southern hospitality. My family had 3 rooms for 1 night. She gave a great dinner suggestion at the Big Tuna (which was delicious) and told us to make sure we walk the boardwalk which we did, great view and lots of history to enjoy. There was the dining...

We traveled to Georgetown by boat with 2 other couples. We reserved 3 rooms and had the Inn to ourselves. My husband and I were in The Sumter room which shared the porch with The Lafayette Room and we also had The Trapier room reserved. All the rooms were beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds and we had the front...

This was an excellent introduction to the world of B & B's for us! Not only was the room elegant, the food excellent, and the atmosphere relaxing, our hostess made us feel like we were the most important people on the planet! She genuinely cared about all our needs, and even changed the breakfast menu based on my husband's dietary...

Beautiful home, comfortable room, great access to main tourist area on river, but not a B&B. Owner lives 3 hours away, managed by a live-out person. We stayed 4 nights, breakfast provided Saturday and Sunday, Monday stale rolls and same fruit salad from last 3 days (blackberries tasted moldy), nothing on Tuesday morning. Drinks fridge not restocked during stay. Bring...

I picked this B&B as we were touring South Carolina and I was trying to stick to places with character. I checked it out for history but didn't read the small print. During the week there's no real breakfast and we weren't even shown where to get food or where to sit (nowhere was prepared). The building is well decorated,...

My husband took me away for my birthday for our first visit to a B and B. He picked Keith House because of it's close proximity to Charleston. Josie was the innkeeper and she was amazing and made us feel welcome. She also made an awesome breakfast. The house was beautiful. We will definitely be back.
