The staff service was fantastic! Rooms were cleaned, renovated and looking incredible. Great cost benefit! Also the location was ideal for visiting Clemson and get the most of the most popular sites, including Clemson Memorial stadium. I will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful stay at the Clemson Lodge when visiting our student for Clemson family weekend Clean rooms and wonderful staff! Super helpful Will definitely stay again Great price for family weekend at Clemson all the other hotels were at least double!
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I travel 7 to 8 times a year. Cockroaches, mold and dirt on the floor of the bathroom, mold under the air conditioner, holes in the blanket, cigarette burn on the inside of the comforter, spiderwebs along the ceiling and holes in the couch. Outside my window there was an old toilet, some old pieces to what looked like air conditioners and a shopping cart. I don't understand other reviews of this hotel, because it wasn't cheap either. I can't believe that Wyndham puts their name on this place, I expect a lot more from this brand. I will never stay here again.
Very old and not appealing building. Location, price and check-in was the only positives. The room furniture was old and hard to tell if it was clean. Internet is slow. This hotel needs to be knocked down. We are not that picky, but this place is sketchy at best.
Dirty, stinky, felt unsafe. Smelled like cigarettes, smoke came through the poorly sealed door from people smoking and talking outside all night. Carpet felt damp, remote was dirty, clean sheets at least.
Some rooms are unbelievably run down. I hope to see they completely remodel this place. I would not stay here until I know they have replaced furniture, sheets, and completely remodeled. Ice machine did work!
They turned my wife and young daughter away at night because I made the reservation and my wife didn't have my driver's license to check in, but they refused a refund. My wife and daughter had to dive the better part of an hour away to get a replacement hotel. I called and asked for a refund and they would not offer one. Mr. Patel who works for the hotel told me he would call "the cops" on me.
Everything was fine. But be warned this place is very old and very noisy. Really in need of some updates. Considering I spent $140 per night for move in weekend, I would have spent more for some place that was not a throwback to the 70’s. But it’s ok if you need it.
By far the absolute worst experience of a hotel stay! When arriving the employee at the front desk was pleasant and we received our keys to the room. When entering the room the carpets were covered in dirt, fingernail clippings were ON the night stand, candy rappers in the night stand, blood on a wall above the trash can, toothpaste in the sink and on the mirror, no toilet paper on the rolls, and a crack under the door large enough that we had to use a towel to keep it closed off. When going to the front desk she stated the room must not have been cleaned although the beds were made and housekeeping was walking out of the room going on to the next as we were unloading the car. She put us in another room after we told her our concerns due to the fact that we had a 6 day old newborn, the new room smelt VERY strongly of marijuana along with being just as filthy and was told we would have to deal with it because some rooms are smoking. We asked for the first room to be cleaned so we could stay there, the carpets were vacuumed and the nail clippings were removed from the table but that was all they would do. The employee at the front desk said “you’re staying at a Days Inn not a Holiday Inn, you get what you pay for”. It does not matter the price, cleanliness should ALWAYS be guaranteed!!…
A reasonable stay close to were I was going. Cost effective solution. Nice friendly staff. Good functioning internet. Hot water works . Toilets flush. A reasonable breakfast with options. I would stay again
