My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect- right in the middle of downtown, at the top of the Market, walking distance to tons of stuff. I loved that this hotel is architecturally such a classic and the rooms have the 4-poster beds with lace canopies. Very comfortable, clean, smells nice,...

We enjoyed our stay at The Meeting Street Inn, which is centrally located, and on the CAT free trolley line that circles the tourist and business center of Charleston. Our room was comfortable and homey, clean and well-maintained. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. We found the parking quite accessible and only a brief walk from the Inn. We...

Dear hjwh, Thank you so much for your kind review! We really appreciate your comments regarding our location, staff, rooms and parking (as this is at a premium in our city and we try our best to accommodate guests to and from our lot.) Thank you again and we look forward to your next visit to Charleston!!!

We had a nice trip planned to Charleston for an overnight via train from Savannah and when speaking with their front desk person we asked for a cab company they would recommend to pick us up from the station to the hotel. We were given the name "Wally" from the Charleston Cab company! So I called and set everything up!...

Dear Best_Souvenier, We are very sorry that you feel we mislead you about the cab service from the train station. When guests ask us who we recommend for rides to and from the airport and train station (which are both in North Charleston, about 20 minutes from our downtown Charleston hotel), we recommend Wally's company, which is actually called Greenway...

This is such a charming inn. The rooms bring you back in time. The housekeeping girl sang us a song when she brought us toiletries. The inn is in the perfect location for Charleston sights. The inn offers a 5:00 wine and cheese and a great breakfast which was perfect to mingle and made the experience that much more charming....

The entire experience was amazing. The lobby is warm and inviting and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast there everyday and lounged there at 5 every day at the wine n cheese reception. The room was lovely and was everything I expected and more with a very comfy bed. The staff was so accommodating as well. I asked a question about an...

This is a cross between a B& B and a hotel. The service was top rate, the breakfast unequaled anywhere, the rooms quaint, and all in historic Savannah! Wine and cheese every night at 5:00. We would definitely stay here again. It was so relaxing, yet had all the amenities of a big hotel.

We stayed only 24h at the Meeting Inn, but this was long enough to appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the small but relaxing patio with the fountain as central piece. The room we had was large, very clean and recently renovated, with a canopy bed. Wifi worked flawlessly. Breakfast was probably one of the best I've ever had in...

We recently spent 2 nights at the Meeting Street Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it- we will definitely stay here again when we're lucky enough to get back to Charleston! Loved the historic ambiance & layout, and our guest room with balconies on either side, including a tiny private one! Also loved the lovely high, carved, four-poster bed! The breakfasts they...

This hotel is in a great location and has rooms that actually have some character. The courtyard is wonderful to sit in and the environment is such that guests actually talk to one another. It is very relaxing.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel to enjoy the downtown experience in a historic hotel. In that regard we got what we were looking for. Several people reviewed this location as a bed and breakfast (B&B) which if that was the case (in my mind) it would have fallen very short. It was kind of a cross between...
