My wife and I stayed at the Indigo about 15 years ago and decided to try it again for old time's sake. Our memory was that it was a great location, but not up to par with some competing hotels/B&Bs in Charleston. But, when looking for rooms and the prices being charged we thought it would be a nice trip...

Very comfortable, spacious room. Outstanding location for walking the historic area, near many restaurants. Two blocks from the city market. Four blocks from the waterfront park. Easy access in/out parking (fee). Adequate breakfast in the morning, wine and cheese in late afternoon. Charming, older small facility - not party central but if that's your goal, you don't have to go...

Actually made a call last minute during the weekend of the Cooper River Bridge Run and must have had a cancelation. We took the only room they had left. There were 4 of us and it was perfect for us! The beds were comfortable, The shower was great and the ambience was perfect! We loved it!

We stayed at Indigo Inn for a long weekend, having driven up from Savannah where we were staying for nearly three weeks to escape the Vermont winter. Brian was the consummate host, warmly greeting us upon check in, and provided us with places to see and and other suggestions while in beautiful Charleston. Breakfast here was a solid start to...

We stayed at the Indigo Inn, Great hotel, nice court yard. Wine and cheese every night. Nice hot breakfast to start the morning. Walking distance to most of popular sites downtown. 2 blocks from the market. Lots of great restaurants close by and if you want to expand out jump on the "CARTA" buses, they are free and with overlapping...

CARTA is a great way to see Charleston, sheck327, and one of the stops is at the next corner to the Indigo Inn. Thank you for sharing your experiences with others, and for your recommendations!!!

Ideal location(with off-street parking) in historic Charleston. This hotel has charm with its interior plaza, green garden and shrubs, and relaxing water fountain. The hotel staff are excellent in keeping the premises in clean condition. They also are very helpful towards guests, especially Brian at the front desk. Breakfast is unique with its plentiful buffet and the wine and cheese...

We've been here many times over the years but never for a week so we really got to know the Inn and saw more of Charleston. The reviews here seem very accurate and it's all been said: Indigo Inn is Special! This visit made me realize the real secret to this place - the people. Everyone is super friendly and...

Unique little hotel on Meeting St near the Market. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for sightseeing. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the breakfasts each day and the wine and hors d'oeuvres each evening. The lobby area, where the breakfast and happy hour is served, is a bit crowded for those times when the...

What a great little spot! I alternate between minimalist, loft-type hotels and more bohemian places such as this quite often for business travel, and I will certainly stay here again if given the chance. Pull right into the dedicated parking, go in and get your room key, and feast your eyes on a room right out of that bed and...

Did you have an elderly aunt or grandmother whose house you stayed at - and you wound up in a weird upstairs bedroom with old creaky furniture and dark wooden floors? Picture quite a few of those rooms grouped around a calming garden like courtyard and that's the Indigo Inn. It has a friendly and welcoming staff - thank you...
