The building is a turn of the century factory converted to a small hotel in charming Old Charleston. Convenient to great restaurants, shops and everything Charleston. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the areas attractions and sites. I will stay no place else on future trips to SC.

If my significant other was reviewing this, he'd give it a 5. The room was large, for the price (which includes a large convention in town that weekend, and booking last minute), it was only noisy because we were next to the elevator. The location is great if you like walking, as it is a bit off the main stretch....

For years we have been visiting charleston and stopping at Charleston Place (see my review on how 'CP sold its soul to Belmond and lost its Charm') Not happy with the changes at CP, we started looking for another property to call our home away from home. And we found it very quickly. We've driven past the Ansonborough Inn just...

I'm a frequent visitor to Charleston and while I have my favorite places to stay, I always like to try new places. I've found a keeper! Located about 3 blocks from the market, it is in easy walking distance to everything. There are difference size rooms available from a standard room to a junior suite. Breakfast is in included as...

We stayed for a few nights in February. The location is wonderful -- just a few quiet blocks from the hustle and bustle. I was expecting a small suite as we had booked a petite studio, but it turned out to be quite large with a big, comfy couch in living room area and separate room with luxurious king bed....

This inn right right up my alley. It is located right in the historic part of Charleston. You can walk to everything. But, best of all it is beautiful! We stayed in a deluxe room and it was so quaint and beautiful. High high ceilings, spacious, nice leather couch, king bed, frig, microwave, sink in room, a safe, brick wall...

Beautiful historic cozy Inn/ hotel. The rooms are huge and very well laid out. Wonderful breakfast every morning-has something for everyone. Wine, cheese, and crackers every afternoon-perfect! Very romantic atmosphere, with fireplace in the lobby, makes you not want to leave the hotel-ever! The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Everyone working at the hotel was very pleasant. Easily within walking...

Stayed at the inn for 3 nights in February. Our Deluxe room was huge. Beds were comfortable. Only thing is the room was a little dark even with all the lamps. Breakfast was fine, it's continental and they replenished the food during the morning rush. The wine and cheese hour was also nice. Would definitely stay here again,

I can't say enough about this inn! We came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and absolutely loved this inn. The room was so beautiful and spacious! The lobby area is also uniquely southern and almost log cabin feeling. They had a wonderful cheese and wine hour from 5-6pm with really delicious cheese and decent wine. The breakfast was...

We had stayed here previously and recently had a chance to return. The location is great and the staff could not be nicer or more welcoming. Our room felt huge. The decor is mostly nice, but I look forward to when they refresh some of the more aggressively 90's fixtures (gold, cultured marble, pine cabinetry) with more period-compatible replacements. A...
