We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Annelise and Jack and their family, friends and feline and canine charges. We felt like family, immediately welcomed into their home, joining in with other guests at breakfast which was ample and served to suit our tastes and schedule. The room we stayed in was comfortable and spacious. Their home...

I stayed at 15 Church St in early November and cannot imagine a warmer or more gracious welcome. I spent 5 wonderful nights in the Cypress room which was immaculately clean and very large. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and while being located on the ground floor surprisingly quiet. For me visiting Charleston, SC isnt just visiting, its...

We chose this B&B for a number of reasons. Location, off street parking and good reviews on tripadvisor. Our room was HUGE. We stayed in the Cypress Room which, while not on the top floor offered a private entrance and much privacy. We only had to walk up the stairs for breakfast. The parking is a bit tight but this...

We thank these very nice guests for their thoughtful review. Regarding our breakfasts, we would like to remind future potential guests that while most Charleston B&B’s serve only a continental breakfast, we just do not “throw a doughnut at you” but offer a daily hot breakfast. Being a small B&B and not a commercial hotel or inn, we do have...

The property is owned by a very hospitable couple and they do a lot to make you feel at home. We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our room, the other guests and our hosts. The location is perfect and located on a quiet street but within walking distance of the entire historical district. The "cocktail" hour is a very...

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Charleston (our first) for a belated 25th anniversary celebration. After reviewing several B&Bs online, we chose the Phillips-Yates-Snowden House because of all the excellent reviews. Those rave reviews are spot-on for good reason. This beautiful house is located near the south end of Church Street in a picturesque residential area with period...

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely anniversary vacation in Charleston. Charleston is a beautiful city perfectly suited for those who don't mind walking a bit. The gorgeous 200 year old houses along the live oak shaded streets make every stroll a pleasure. This is a city full of history and beckons every would be explorer of the past. You...

Two old friends and I found more than we had expected at 15 Church Street this week. We booked the Carriage House with its private sitting room so we could visit late into the night, but the gas fireplace made the evenings even more special. We knew Jack and Annelise hosted a daily wine and cheese social hour, but their...

Jack and Annelise are just wonderful BnB hosts. They provide tips and advice during your stay and are very accommodating. There may not be a better place to stay in historic Charleston than 15 Church street for the price, location, ambiance, etc...

We have stayed multiple times and 15 Church, a period home "South of Broad" with all the charm of Charleston, is an ideal location with fantastic hosts. You will not need a car to explore great restaurants, museums, art galleries or any of the activities offered in this historic city.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at 15 Church St (Rose room). Annelise and Jack were great hosts - social hour on the porch for all the guests, suggestions for restaurants and activities, providing history of the house and neighborhood. It felt like we were staying with family. Rose room is large and comfortable, with a nice view...
