Very nice accommodations in the historic old building located in a very convenient location for the French Quarter, Battery Park and Mt. Pleasant/Sullivan's Island area. This was our second time to stay here and I would highly recommend The Hampton Inn on Meeting Street

The staff at this hotel makes the stay! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Everything we asked for, they provided-whether it was directions, suggestions or items we forgot to bring with us. The hotel is right across the street from the Visitor's Center where you can catch the free trolley and buy tickets to area attractions. It's also walking distance...

Had a great time while visiting Charleston with family. Restaurants had fabulous seafood options and the atmosphere was fantastic. Although the weather at first was great, later on the rain was a minor annoyance. The Hampton Inn is located on meeting street and most places are easily accessed on foot. Parking garage next door and the employees were all very...

the location of the hotel was fabulous. it forced you to walk everywhere and took the need for a car out of the picture. the hotel room was first class. the room was very updated and very clean. the breakfast was just fine. nothing real fancy but I will say the fruit was real fresh. the other food was nothing...

We enjoyed this hotel. I wondered aloud why this was a Hampton Inn and not a more prestigious Hilton. The service, rooms, and cleanliness were top notch. Combine that with the location and we were very impressed. Iour stay in Charleston was awesome...largely because we know we had a great Home Base at the Hampton Inn.

We had reservations, but upon our arrival we were booked into an upgraded room or rather suite. We were in a corner suite 1st floor overlooking the pool & gardens. This suite had a king bed, w/tv in bedroom, a living room with 2 couches & desk chairs, and large tv. Also was a small efficiency kitchen in the suite....

We stayed at the Hapmton Inn Charleston - Historic District for four nights. On our last night (New Years Eve), someone in the room next to ours had apparently snuck in a small dog. We first heard the dog bark around 8:00pm when we left our room to go out for the evening. We heard one bark when we shut...

We stayed three nights at the Hampton Inn Charleston and were very satisfied with the room and the facilities. The bedding was very comfortable, as was the rest of the room. A very complete breakfast buffet was offered every morning until 10 a.m. A coffee bar, with tea and chocolate, was available 24 hours per day. An adjoining parking garage...
