This hotel is adorable with its English theme and kind staff, but the room is very small, the bathtub is a little narrow, and the elevators are small (hold four people without luggage) and slow. I also wish there had been a more modern thermostat, a refrigerator, and a thicker comforter. The bed was only a queen, which is too...

I've stayed at this inn several times, though the most recent occasion was in 2006. At that time, anyway, the price during the off-peak season was very affordable for the beautiful room I got. With the tasteful period furnishings, it was like taking a step back into time. Since I was traveling solo, I opted to share a bathroom, and...

We heard that the second floor lounge was a great place to get a drink. Indeed, It was a beautiful historic porch. We loved the atmosphere but the service was mediocre. We had to go to the bar downstairs twice both to place our drink order and to pay.

My husband took me here for my birthday, and we really enjoyed our over night here. It reminded me very much like a bed and breakfast we had stayed at in Savannah for our very first Valentine's Day together. I I loved the Victorian feel, and the bed was one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in! We...

Nice rooms,, heavy Victorian furniture but not well-thought out. My TV was directly in front of the a/c unit. OK. TV went on the floor. Breakfast is repurposed Costco packaged carbs. the breakfast room is so small that if there are more than 2 people in the room, you cannot easily move to serve yourself from the buffet, nor can...

Wonderful place to stay in Charleston. Charlene was the caretaker and she was great. Both the hosts were so helpful in directing us in our sightseeing. Very nice people and a beautiful place to stay. The cat Isabelle was a homey addition. Unfortunately they have sold the property to the college next door and the property will no longer be...

My friend and I stayed for one night in July. The Inn is okay, but not worth the price we paid. The breakfast was not home made (frozen hash browns, microwaved bacon). With so many delicious places to eat in Charleston, I would skip it. The beds were comfortable and the space charming.

We had a loved one in a Charleston hospital and needed a room for the night. It was the 4th of July and every hotel/inn was booked. Terry (the Innkeeper) was so kind and understanding of our need - he instantly opened his inn for the night. We were able to have a good nights sleep and warm shower. Early...

I am a fellow InnKeeper in Sea Isle City, NJ. Our daughter is a student at The College of Charleston and a member of the Cross Country/Track team for the Cougars. My husband and I were traveling to see a meet and we weren't sure where we were going to stay. We contacted the Marriott properties, but decided to check...

Friendly, welcoming staff, great location for the town, comfortable, perfect for our needs. Bathroom a little cramped and parking not a problem for us but could have been as limited space available. Room 6 just rather nosy through the night, lots of people walking loudly past and traffic noise. However, if we visited Charleston again would we stay there? The...
