Choosing a hotel in a city can be daunting. Planters Inn stood out based on its perfect location, boutique hotel feel, and being connected to a well rated restaurant. We were impressed by the small touches.... coffee and tea in the "Parlor" lobby, bottled water in our room, exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff and a historical feel.

Good service, food and nice gardens. Meeting room was well set up for large group. Rooms lack modern conveniences and lack power outlets. Bar drinks were good and the staff all round were pleasant and helpful.
