easy to return to this accommodation..the location and the dining was outstanding, the retrival of our car was timely and the staff, headed by Brad satisfied all our requests on a timely basis..The only disappointment was the balcony which did not provide much of a view but was private.

We greatly enjoyed our five night stay at the Planters Inn. It was centrally located for our activities - walking and eating our way through the Charleston historic district. We had breakfast at the Planters Inn twice and dinner once - and you'd have to try hard to find a better dining experience in the area. Our room was furnished...

They made us comfortable as soon as we stepped through the door. My favorite was the Teddy Bear on our luxurious bed. comfortable bath with slippers, bath robe toiletries. The connection to the Peninsula Grill made it that much better. The key word to describe the Planters Inn was " friendliness ". Location, location and location. Help with sites and...

We stayed at the Planters Inn 28 years ago and just revisited it. It was as lovely and luxurious as I remembered. The location is fabulous. Very convenient for walking downtown Charleston with the market at your doorstep. So many wonderful restaurants and shops in the area. Definitely worth it!

Hotel with old world charm. Great location. Nice staff. Housekeeping was good, but we had a few issues. Nothing extreme though. Parlor had refreshments throughout the day. Easy access to the market and carriage rides.

Love the atmosphere, decor, thoughtfulness and friendly service. We visit at least twice each year, Christmas and our anniversary, and have yet to be disappointed with any aspect of our stays. Happy to consider ourselves among the patrons of the Planter's Inn.
