Quick weekend trip with another couple. The hotel and bar top were fantastic. Room was romantic and quiet. Yes! To all hotels that offer robes in the roof. Service was stellar all the way through. We took advantage of the complimentary bikes every morning. The complimentary Cookies and milk were our favorite way to end the night.

The location of the Vendue is excellent, with many sights and restaurants within walking distance. However this boutique hotel is not a good value. It is expensive, but delivers less than first class. The rooms are small, located within an art gallery, and noisy. The service of the front desk, concierge, bar, and bell staff attentive and professional. Much less...

Great staff, great location, clean but very average room. Felt like the room was small, bathroom was very disappointing. Expected more for the cost. We chose Vendue over Marriott for a special experience, room was not as nice.

We had booked a "Deluxe" room with Queen size bed. What we got was a room on the ground floor with a window that had milk glass in it so that you couldn't look out. You could only guess from the shadow that there was an iron grid in front of the window. We felt like in prison! We went...

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting beautiful Charleston. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you will be enchanted by the decor as well as the welcoming staff. You can read all the other reviews which highlight the hotel amenities, great location, free Starbucks, newspaper at your door, bottled water in the room, cookies and milk, etc. All of that is true and terrific! This review reflects what can make or break any business, not just the hotel industry. As someone who works in creating positive workplaces, customer...

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The staff was too notched and couldn't help enough. Free Starbucks coffee every morning.... wine and snack ever evening and milk and cookies ever night. Very central located and you didn't need a car. The artwork thru out the hotel was amazing as well. Every room is a little different . The...

Top marks from the moment we pulled up. While it was a bit tricky getting bags offloaded from the car due to the bustling street traffic adjacent to the hotel, the doorman was exceptionally helpful--going so far as to bring a plastic bag and help my husband retrieve grocery items from the street after our paper shopping bag broke. The...
