We stayed at the Beaufort Inn. We are grateful they allowed us to bring our dog. We were across from the public library and wasn't very quiet. The bed was a bad thing! The mattress had sheets that barely covered the mattress and the box spring showed. There are several things they could have done to make that more appealing....

Dear Fran B., I remember your visit (I laid the area rug over the area) and regret that you did not experience the level of service and comfort that is the hallmark of The Beaufort Inn. Getting feedback from a guest about a less than satisfactory stay is always troubling although I view feedback as a necessary aspect of improvement...

The Beaufort Inn consists of a former Southern Victorian home and a series of old and new cottages that make up a city block in Beaufort, SC. We stayed in one of the historic cottages which dated from the mid-19th century and it has some nice touches, was very quiet and comfortable. The grounds are nice and well landscaped and...

Dear BonChic, The Beaufort Inn is an Historic Boutique Hotel with 34 rooms, a full service restaurant (Southern Graces Bistro) and The Beaufort Day Spa. As you described so well our five courtyards, eleven renovated historic buildings and guest parking areas occupy a town block - a surprise to most guests - and very centrally located to all that Beaufort...

Stay at the Beaufort inn, period. They make you feel so welcome and the house is great. Stay in the main house, top floor, king room. It's private balcony is so nice. The breakfast is great, chef prepared eggs to order are the best. They even see you in town and recognize you like old friends. Stay and enjoy .

Hi Jimmy M! Thank you for your enthusiastic review of The Beaufort Inn! The room you enjoyed is one of our Historic King accommodations - it has a very lovely Juliet balcony that is a wonderful place to enjoy our Lowcountry sunrises and sunsets. Both are spectacular! I hope you were able to enjoy our garden courtyards, too. The Southern...

Everything I experienced at the Beaufort Inn was incredibly wonderful. The location is great (never once had to get in the car once we got there), the food was delicious, and the service was friendly. The atmosphere is very conducive to relaxation. The rooms are beautifully furnished down to every detail. Highly recommend this place!

We recently stayed at this inn for just one evening as a stop on our road-trip along the Southern coastline. The room was decorated with care, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was HUGE. The grounds include a beautiful courtyard lit with a string of lights and access to the next-door spa's firepit. The service from check-in through...

We recently had the opportunity to visit Beaufort and stay at the Beaufort Inn. It is a charming inn with an incredibly friendly staff. We stayed in the main building in a great room that had a small terrace perfect for drinking wine, sharing laughs and taking in the views of Beaufort. We will definitely be back and look forward...

What a beautiful inn! The location is perfect for walking in the historic district and taking in the shops & restaurants on Bay St - only one block away. We had a Garden Cottage room with a covered porch overlooking the main patio. For garden lovers the Beaufort Inn has several "secret" garden spots tucked away to enjoy. Delightful. And...

We stayed in one of the Garden Cottage King rooms. That building is newly renovated, with beautiful hardwood floors, a fireplace, a comfortable bed and a massive bathroom. We had a bit of a mix up with our late check-in because the after hours service had the wrong code, but it was quickly rectified. The breakfast on the first morning...
