The house itself was nice, but the lady running the place should not be renting the house. My family rented the house for the weekend, thinking it will only be our extended family there. Well lo and behold, Deb the owner was there to take care of all of our unnecessary needs of making everyone uncomfortable. She told us that... More

The house itself is just charming. However the owner/manager Deb was absolutely horrendous. One morning she sent us out for breakfast after telling us she did not want to cook for us. The next day when she did the breakfast was store bought muffins and cut up fruit. She made eggs if asked. She was disheveled and walked around naked,... More

The owner, Deb, and her friendly and smart sidekick, Hawkeye, are tremendous fun. Be sure to ask to see them "on the course" out back--it's impressive. We felt right at home. Deb knew lots of great places to eat and was full of interesting stories. The house is historic charm with modern amenities. The surroundings are gorgeous--off the beaten path... More

We stayed at this delightful B&B twice this past summer. Both times we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. The bucolic setting is lovely and Deb, the innkeeper, couldn't be more accommodating! Her guidance and recommendations truly enhanced our visits, and spending time with Hawkeye the Magnificent, her beautiful, super smart doggie, was just icing on... More

A friendly welcome, a sunny comfortable room, and delicious breakfasts...what more could a weary traveler ask for? I stayed a total of 5 nights (4 on my way north and one on my way back to Brooklyn ) and everything was more than delightful. Hawkeye, Deborah's talented collie did some of his tricks for me. It is a very special... More

My fiancé and I stayed at the Edith Pearl B&B and it was a relaxing and beautiful experience. Deb and Hawkeye (her beautiful collie) were very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable. We both work a lot so it was very nice to be able to enjoy ourselves in the lovely location. We will be happily staying again!

It is conveniently located to the Sakonnet Vineyard but not to anything else. The pet-friendly room was OK but not special considering what the room cost. The room had a broken windo pane which allowed in a very strong wind and later that night, the rain. Much of the house needed maintainence. Our dog enjoyed the experience, I think, more... More

We are always disappointed to hear a guest was unhappy with their stay. A one night stay costs more than a two or more night stay. The two queens are equally popular; one room is not better than the other. Originally the guest's son was to stay the one night and paid in advance for the room. The father who... More

My husband and I had a brief stay here on a winter weekend. Even in January it was charming. Little Compton is a quiet, beautiful hamlet surrounded by farms and a breathtaking waterfront. We stayed in the large master bedroom known as the Pirate Girl's King suite which was such a luxurious treat. All of our needs were taken care... More

We had a romantic getaway weekend this fall and had a terrific experience at the Edith Pearl. Deborah, the innkeeper, is a wonderful host, always accommodating and an awesome chef! Her breakfast definitely made it into my top 10 best breakfast meals of all time. The inn was homey and comfortable, the Pirate Girl King’s Suite was spectacular. The bucolic... More
