loved the convenient location, room was spotless and great and the staff was excellent, we really liked the close proximity to the scenic boardwalk and park as well as the 14 mile bike path and close by walkable restaurants. We always like a small continental breakfast included but the kitchenette helped with the lack of that so overall we were very pleased with our stay and would return for sure. Bristol is a nice relaxing little town with just enough to do for a few days stay.

My husband and I got married on April 20 and wanted to get away for a few days to celebrate, despite the current pandemic. We booked a 2 night stay and got a great rate on the room. I emailed them ahead of our stay and mentioned we'd be celebrating our marriage and are expecting a baby girl in October so this would prob be our last getaway and asked if they could accommodate us with a room with a fireplace and a Harborview. I didn't get a response to my email but was pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded upon our arrival. Our room was PERFECT! We kept the fireplace lit almost the entire time and we could see the harbor beautifully from our room. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance that were offering takeout so we got to enjoy some lovely meals in our room (we HIGHLY recommend the sunset cafe for breakfast....the BEST I have had in years!). It was the perfect getaway even only being 30 minutes from home! Would definitely recommend and go back!

Really enjoyed the fireplace room on my first visit (Winter.) Of course due to the logistics of having a fireplace in the room (my room was 304), you're relegated to a certain part of the building which is not very near to the water - but I'm okay with that in the Winter! Staff was friendly and helpful when asked. There are a few nice little restaurants in walking distance including Tong Phoon which as great Thai food, and a great little breakfast nook at Sunset Cafe.
My only word of caution about room 304 is that, if the blinds are open, there is another building about 6 feet away with a window facing directly toward you, where someone could absolutely see you in full detail while you are in bed. And another window would allow guests near the elevator to look directly at the toilet in your bathroom, so be sure to close those blinds if privacy is a concern!

This is our 4th time staying at this hotel, this trip we had room #304 which had a fireplace! Room was spotless, fireplace worked great you didn't even need the heat on when the fireplace was running! Beautiful view of the harbor from this room which had 3 big windows. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices for a weekend stay. Perfect location for local pubs, saloons and restaurants! I highly recommend this property. 20/25 minutes north of Newport! ENJOY!

We stayed here for a girls weekend. Upon check in, we were told our room configuration we reserved was not available. After some persistence, they were able to find us the room we booked. The room was very nice and clean. Lobby is adorable and it was very quiet. Our spa treatments were great. However, the spa room is located where an event room is located and it was extremely loud and not a relaxing ambiance. Customers knocked on door while I was getting a facial and Olga had to leave in middle of my service to sell them gift cards. A second interruption in my service occurred when there was a ton of noise and she had to leave again to close a door. This is not her fault, however it’s not really an acceptable environment for a relaxing spa treatment. Perhaps a better location on the property would be better suited for the spa. Great location for hotel. We don’t plan to get spa treatments if we come back. We could also hear the singer at the restaurant from inside spa.

Theis was a very comfortable lodging, amply supplied, and attached to a very nice restaurant. Friendly, accommodating staff. Heating system a bit noisy in room 103, but kitchenette was spotless and easily used.

We stayed at the Harbor Inn while some work was being done on our house. We are very familiar with the town of Bristol but had not looked into the Inn previously. We were very pleased with the inn. The location on the waterfront is excellent and centrally located in the downtown area. The inn itself is very nicely decorated with a nautical theme which is very appropriate as it is a short walk from the area of the Herreshoff boat works and now museum. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly liked having a table and chairs next to the window where we could relax and watch the boats coming and going from the docks. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had outstanding water pressure. The staff was very pleasant and professional. We were not sure about the parking after seeing it negatively mentioned in some other reviews but parking was not an issue at all. There is a small lot at the entrance of the lobby for check in and unloading luggage. After this is completed you move to the overnight lot which is very close by, less than a minute walk. We will certainly be recommending the inn to friends and will most certainly be back again even though we live in the next town.

What an unfriendly experience for my daughter's wedding. They double booked the room we paid for 8 months in advance, and were very unhelpful in making up for their mistake- splitting us up and forcing us to cram hair and makeup prep into a tiny room- then trying to rush us out. Parking is shared with multiple businesses, forcing us to spend a lot of time moving our cars many times to find legal overnight parking. Poor communication among managerial staff, and a horrible blight on what should have been an epic wedding weekend.

We booked this hotel to meet up with family. We arrived early (1 p.m.) and asked if they could put us in a room, the ignorant lady on the desk did not even look up and said no check in is 4 p.m. We booked the Penthouse which I can't imagine was occupied based on the rate we paid. Even if it was another comparble room could have been offered or the old lets pre check in and go have a drink at our restaurant. Nothing only go away.

Clean but very small room. Parking was not on site, I didn't like the location of the parking, worried I'd return to my car and find it vandalized.
A few shops around, but nothing impressive and fairly pricey.
Would never stay there again or visit that area again.
