50s Rock and Roll atmosphere Staff was nice, and Saturday morning wasn't busy at all. Cooks looked busy, but my wife's omelet was cold and my French toast was barely warm. Very disappointing. We've eaten at another location and it was fantastic. Only place at the Casino, we could find a breakfast option.
We went to Mohegan Sun Pocono on Columbus Day weekend. The check in took more than twenty minutes, and the bed was hard, but the casino was fun. Our room was booked through Hotels.com, and so we were told we got a little discount. We've been to the casino before, but generally we stay in area hotels. For this stay, the room was clean, the bathroom was modern and well appointed, the closet was huge, and the dresser was more than adequate, but there was no in-room fridge. When I return to Mohegan Sun, will I stay at the casino hotel again? Sure, I will. If the price is comparable to the area hotels. If it is priced much higher, I think I'll stay off property and take a shuttle or taxi.
Not bad overall - Rooms OK - Pool NG - Gaming very good - Dinning great - Staff Great - Would recommend for couples and adults - Not very family friendly - If your looking for a quick get away and not to many bells and whistles Mohegan Sun is for you.
If you believe all the hype about the Mohegan Sun you hear on TV and radio you will be disappointed. The food choices are terrible. Worse buffet going even for free. No entertainment of any kind when we were there. Almost impossible to get a drink while playing slots. Nowhere near as good as other casinos on the east coast.
Never been to a Mohegan Sun before. We needed to get away,, this was a last minute trip. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was clean and very up to date. It was a great time.
