Room was small but comfortable and clean. The fan on the AC/heater was inoperable and ran 24 /7. We chose to think of it as white noise. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the front desk clerk at check out. There were three of us waiting to check out. We could hear her voice down the hall. After about ten minutes I strolled down to see if she knew we were waiting when she screamed down the hallway to us that she is "doing three different jobs. Read the sign at the desk and wait." We could find no sign at the desk. When she returned, the people in front of me gave their room number for check out and walked away rolling their eyes. She acknowledged that the sign had been turned over and wasn't readable. When I approached to check out, I said to her that she spoke to us in an inappropriate manner. She never looked up, but said to me, "I left a sign and someone turned it over. That's the way I speak to people when they've read the sign. " Rudeness is never appropriate in the hospitality industry. I won't be back simply because of her attitude. Travelers should not accept such treatment, especially since we're all trying to get back to traveling. …
We were visiting West Chester University, and needed a place to spend the night. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds, linens, and pillows were all great, and gave us a good night's sleep. The shower had good pressure, and plenty of hot water. Plenty of clean, fluffy towels too. The staff was friendly and helpful, and made checking in and out simple. This is an older facility, with smaller rooms (but still comfortable)...but it's well maintained, in a very convenient location, and a great value for the money. We would definitely stay here again.
I stayed one night, on August 15. We check out at 12pm and 2 hours later I realize I left my IPad in the hotel room (115) and Find My IPad was showing me that it was inside the hotel. I call the receptionist to ask if they have found my ipad and he gets really defensive, and says he’s never seen it. I try calling again the next day and the lady on the phone said they found an IPad outside the hotel room yesterday, yet the guy i spoke with the day before denied receiving it. She said it didn’t have a case and that it was shattered. I get to the hotel and confirm that the IPad is indeed mine. It was almost unrecognizable and I had to pay $250 worth of damages because they also run the iPad Over with their vehicle. I had to file a police report on the hotel. They tried to cover it up and lie about it. I’ve never have such a bad experience at an hotel, and I’m a frequent traveler. I will never look at another hotel the same way. I also contacted HR.…
The facility is older and there are steps at the entrance so if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage you will need to pull around to the back entrance which is all on one level. We were not told of this at check- in and discovered this on our own , so dragging the luggage up the stairs in the beginning could have been avoided. The rooms are small and like other reviewers said the pillows are square, but I actually had 2 of the best nights sleep in a long time with those pillows. There is minimal space for luggage so I would not recommend this as a place to stay for more than a few days as we had to live out of our luggage which was on the floor. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean and very white. They are still doing bag breakfasts even though most other Choice hotels have switched back to more variety. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice place to stay while traveling near Philadelphia.…
Stayed one night after visiting Longwood Gardens. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and roomy. Good value. Wasn't aware of a breakfast, but we had already decided to go to the local diner just half a mile down the road. Highly recommend this motel,
First of all they have no ramps for wheelchair accessible my mother tried to go up to three steps and she fell. The bathroom is so small it feels like I’m an airplane rest room really tiny very uncomfortable. The people however are very nice but I don’t recommend this hotel
Very disappointed that when arriving on a day when the real-feel temp was over 100, the AC in my room was not on. Also the grab-and-go breakfast contained no fruit. Elevator was ancient. Staff was kind, though, and location was very convenient.
Our room was quite small and the whole hotel showed signs of wear and age - far from its former glory days. But our room was comfortable and quiet, fine for a quick one night stay. On check-in the front desk staff was far from welcoming. And the take-away breakfast offered at check-out was pretty uninspired. (Since when is a bottle of water "breakfast"?) But if your primary interest is a cheap place to lay your head at night, this may not be a bad choice as it is much less than the other chain hotels in the area.
Quality inn, WiFi cuts in and out constantly. Grab and go breakfast is nice. Room is large and clean. Fairly Quiet as it is next to a major roadway. The hotel itself is going through an update and I am sure it will be better after the update. I was planning to stay at the Hilton garden inn but it was $300 plus a night.
I booked a room for a 2 night stay. Arrived at 7:45pm to check in and was told my room was cancelled. When I told them I didn't cancel I was informed that the hotel cancelled my room because they ran my card and it was declined. I knew there was no problem with my card and ask the desk person to try my card again and he refused saying that even if the card worked the room was no longer available. I asked when they had supposedly run my card and was told they tried it 15 minutes earlier and claimed that my room was no longer available. The only alternative they gave me was a different room at a $35.00 price increase. I had no choice so I took the room. They also told me they had no room available for my 2nd night. I somehow was able to pay for the new more expensive room with the same card that they told me was declined. The whole story made no sense and they were not wiling to do anything about it. As I was checking out in the morning I overheard them telling another guest the same story of the declined card and my friend who was staying at the same hotel on Friday night heard them telling a 3rd guest the same declined card run around about 30 minutes before I tried to check in.…
