There is zero fine print or undisclosed features. What amenities are stated is what you get. For the price and leniency’s not to mention the great food and bar of the gravity restaurant you get exactly what you paid for and then some. Just says you should do in any motel room that you may stay in (whether it’s $70 a night or $700 a night) don’t use the top cover of the bedspread, of course. And don’t expect to be staying at the Hilton. It’s warm and clean. It’s safe and convenient. If what you’re looking for is a clean and safe room for less than $100 per night with zero down payment or security posit then I would recommend the gravity inn motel every time
Gravity is a nice place to go for lunch or dinner. Clean dining room and attentive wait staff. They have a nice deck to gather on and enjoy a few drinks. We go for dinner once a week and never been disappointed
Stayed one night at this one story, 12 room motel. It has NO office, lobby, coffee maker, phone, fridge or microwave. Room had 2 beds, flat TV and free WiFi. Curtain was broken and did not cover window. Fairly clean except for used soap in one of the paper cups. Parking in front of room, with weeds growing everywhere. Reservation with Hotels.com indicated you could check in up to 11 PM. Called to tell them we would be coming in after 9 PM. Was told they closed by 9 PM. Check in with bartender in nearby restaurant. She was very pleasant and gave us a large bag of ice because there was no ice maker. OK for one night, but cannot see this place rated as very good in Trip Advisor. I would give it a "fair" rating of 2 1/2 at best.
Quiet, comfortable, well maintained. Cleaned well every day with fresh towels. Good restaraunt, nice people and all at a fair price. We'll sure be back. Worth the short drive to Honesdale for so much better accomodations than anything in town.
Had family business in the area. Stayed at Gravity and ate at the restaurant. Great burger, and all the food. Rooms were clean, all was great!! Great location, nice bar, good prices. Will be back! Been going to NE Pennsylvania for many years and love it!!!
Very clean, comfortable rooms. Motel right on property and walking distance to it's restaurant, Bar and party house. Excellent breakfast buffet with full breakfast, lunch & dinner menus. Have stayed here a few times before this year.
Cozy, clean room. Very friendly host. Family owned hotel and bar with great food and a short walk back to your room is a nice touch. Stayed for two weeks and the room was serviced every day. Very nice coming back to after a long day of work. Will defiantly return.
This place is clean, no frills, economical and self contained in that it has a restaurant literally within walking distance on the rooms. The food at their restaurant is excellent and priced right. The restaurant staff is accommodating and professional. It's not the Hilton. They don't pretend to be. What they are is a small town motel, with a small town restaurant nearby that apparently shares common ownership. As previous reviews have stated, there are not a lot of choices in this area. If your looking for a posh hotel with a pool, workout facility, conference room and high price tags, move your search area 20+ miles south and pay 50-75% more. The Gravity Motel worked out fine for my son and I on our recent visit and we will return again.
Visited the Gravity Inn on March 28 2015. Quick and easy check in, clean room. I realized after I got back home, that I left behind my sons Iphone. It was only used to play nursery rhymes. I was so so upset and I didn't think I would ever get it back. Until a few days ago I received a phone call from the manager Cliff Krajkovich, informing me that they had my phone, 3 weeks later. I informed Cliff that I was in able to pick up the phone because I lived 2 hours away. He was so generous and sent the phone to me! Great customer service!! Thank you!!
Had to stay in Waymart because of a family event, and unfortunately there is not a whole lot of choice as far as paid accommodations are concerned. So knowing that the Gravity Inn was "basic" and bringing our own towels (see earlier review), we arrived at 56 Gravity Planes Rd. Which was not the Gravity Inn, but an apartment building. Heading up the street a bit, we arrived at the Gravity Inn (the bar) and noticed a strip of hotel rooms to the side - check in with the bartender, the note on the door said. My husband said "I have a bad feeling about this" :-) - but what options did we have? The room itself was very basic and smelled somewhat of smoke, and I noticed the distinct burn of a hot iron on the carpet near the sink (and that is why they don't have irons in the room!). Beds were not very comfortable, and the A/C unit made quite the racket. Most TV channels were displaying the warning that "service will end if converter box not installed", and I noticed that the rules and regulations outlawed (1) Partying - no parties allowed in the room or you will be charged for damages!, and (2) Thou shall not use the towels as napkins or rags, else you shall be penalized! Fabulous! Really - at this point, I was about at 3 star rating, just hoping to get thru the night and be on our way. And we almost made it - until we wanted to take a shower. I heard my husband start the water running...and then an unmentionable curse came forth. Apparently you could not switch the shower lever on, dooming us to bathing in the small tub. That pretty much did it for me. All that said, note that the Gravity Inn had a full house the night we stayed, so some folks obviously feel differently (or, like us, had very limited options). I think we will try to find something else in the future - I am okay with 'basic' service but I absolutely need to bathe.…
