I have been camping in Tionesta all my life and had never heard of this place- not sure how! It is such a cozy place, that's beautifully decorated, and just like home. It's also right along the river and would be a beautiful view on the screened in porch in the summer time. The owner was so helpful and kind....

Beautiful location and excellent attentiveness to detail.Love the front porch and it overlook. Would love to come back when there is snow on the ground. Close to local sites & museums and countryside is beautiful to drive thru.

We stayed at Eagles Landing - right along the Allegheny River. Very peaceful. This is a great place to put in your kayak or canoe. Also a great place to sit on the deck, enjoy a cocktail and watch for bald eagles that nest in one of the trees. The lodge was very nice but note no air conditioning. Not...

Lodge is in a somewhat secluded location. Hosts are very friendly yet allow time for your privacy. Very clean with large bedroom and attached bathroom (Lincoln room). There is a whirlpool tub but no shower. The included breakfast was good. Would have appreciated some complimentary snacks (apples, granola bars...).

We stayed at the lodge from out of state for a family reunion. It's a cozy and charming place with an awesome front porch overlooking the Allegheny River. The owners were very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Very clean & well maintained.

The accommodations are stunning. My room was comfortable, beautiful, and I can't wait to go back. The whole place welcomes you, but especially the front porch. I love sitting there and looking out over the Alleghany.

Such a beautiful place nestled in the Allegheny Mountain region! Forces you to relax and enjoy nature and quiet. Very reasonable priced. We can't wait to visit again. Ray and Jan really take care of their guests. Enjoy!

I was working in the Tionesta area and required an unexpected overnight stay in the area. Choices for motels are very limited and almost non-existent. I stumbled across Tripadvisor reviews for Turtle Bay and they were spot on! This is a great place!! Trust me ... I work all over the tri-state (PA, OH, WV) region and I stay in...

Talk about a relaxing weekend! I had the pleasure of staying at the lodge this past weekend for a family reunion. The house gives off the true "lodge" feel. The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, each with their own bathroom which adds a level of privacy. Views from the comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch overlook the river,...

Turtle Bay is a wonderful tradition in our family. Every summer the whole family rents the house and has such a fun, relaxing time. Ray and Jan are the most gracious, nicest couple! The house is beautiful and the scenery so picturesque. You can kayak, take long relaxing nature walks to see the turtles, frogs, birds and butterflies. Highly recommend...
