We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Inn for the second time, and the experience was once again delightful! The rooms are clean, comfortable and so well appointed. The dining room was refined and relaxing, and our dinners were superb! The complimentary breakfast was made to order and delicious. It's the perfect retreat - you won't be disappointed!

Great place to stay, really caring people. They try so hard. Could not try their dinners, room was booked, They bungled some small things--no one answering front desk phone, ice bucket but no ice machine, waitress asking us if we would like to move our place at breakfast (!)....and the room was very small and we've stayed at a lot...

First let me thank you for your review and comments and also for staying at the Carnegie Inn and Spa. Being a small property we typically have one individual on duty at the front desk/office and occasionally we might have to step away. Our ice machine is kept behind the scenes so these we apologize for. I will most certainly...

By far one of the best places to stay in State College PA. From the moment you walk through the door you feel as though you are in a private estate created especially for your stay. From the fragrance of fresh flowers everywhere to the fire in the fireplace in the Library/Lounge. The staff is so accommodating. This visit was...

I absolutely love this inn. I stayed here my first time in April 2015 when I brought my daughter to visit Penn State. Now that she is a student here I try to stay here whenever I come to visit. The rooms are amazing and the restaurant is incredible. The people who work here are so nice and helpful, really...

We have many guests such as yourself that once they experience the Carnegie Inn and Spa, they are hooked. We aren't a "cookie cutter" property and we try and do our best at providing a level of customer service that isn't found much any more. We look forward to seeing you as your daughter advances through Penn State. Thanks

What a great place to relax. Like a bed and breakfast without the down side of a bed and breakfast. Clean room, had a good meal and a nice spa treatment. If you want a nice quiet place with a friendly staff - this is the place.

We appreciate your review and business. Unlike a bed and breakfast we also have a phenomenal dining room and bar. Cooked to order breakfast served in the dining room before checkout is a great amenity. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks

The intimate table for 2 tucked into an alcove in the kitchen at Carnegie House offers a new special occasion gastronomic experience that is not to be missed. Executive chef Paul Kendeffy prepares--and serves--9 courses that hit every taste bud with a velvet hammer. Incredibly complex flavors, including oysters in Beurre Blanc with caviar, seared tuna on spicy greens, chicken...

Chef Paul and restaurant manager Brett along with the entire staff take great pride in their offerings and the quality that they present. Each course that Chef Paul presents builds upon the flavors,, textures and presentation of the previous building to a crescendo that is unlike anything that State College has to offer. This one of a kind experience needs...

We have been staying here since I stumbled upon this hotel 7 years ago. The surroundings within the inn are fabulous - beautiful furniture and fireplaces - and a serene setting. It's a quiet area away from the downtown area of Penn State but just a 5 minute drive away from campus.

We appreciate your review. Many people such as yourself tend to "stumble" upon us as we are not located downtown or on the main highway, yet we are just a short 1.5 mile drive from the stadium. With a full cooked to order breakfast, fine dining, fitness center, outdoor pool, access to golf at our back door, why choose anywhere...

We had a great experience at the Carnegie Inn & Spa. Started the weekend with a great dinner at the Spa. Excellent Bedding and comfortable rooms provided us with great rest. We were in and out all weekend and even brought in Pizza to watch the Villanova victory Saturday night. Excellent Service and Attention to small details. Highly recommend!
