Kind older gentleman working the front desk, very helpful. Nice made to order breakfast included in the night, which was at a reasonable rate (about a third the price of the nittany lion while I was there, for a comparable room (size, comfort level). Downside is that the rooms in front face the headlights of cars parking in front. On...

The room was terrific, the service was outstanding and the food was made to perfection. we just took a day trip with a overnight stay and was pleasantly surprised. We had been to the Carnegie house many times over the past 10 years for dinners with friends and business associates and our food was outstanding

This was our first visit. We booked a double room to accommodate our family of 4 and we were pleased that the room was quite spacious and clean. Our only complaint is about the breakfast. We were charged for our sons' breakfast which was supposed to be included. When we made inquiry, we were questioned about whether the boys were...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Chef Paul Kendeffy's chef's table for my birthday dinner recently. We've eaten in the dining room before but this is a whole different and very wonderful experience. We were greeted by Chef Paul who took us into the kitchen where we were seated at a comfortable and private table for 2 with...

Returned for PSU homecoming weekend and had a pleasant stay at the inn. We've stayed here before and we were generally pleased once again. The inn is head and shoulders above most hotels in State College. It's a quiet, refined place to get away from the homecoming crowds. A couple of issues with the place that should be noted; no...

Thank you Chef Caleb and Paul for exceptional meals. It's been too long for such a beautiful boutique hotel not to have really fine dining. The staff are alway first class. We look forward to dining here as often as we can. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

Have been visiting the Carnegie annually for about 6 years with PSU grad friends. It's elegant atmosphere is always a treat, but over the last couple of years, the service waned and the food seemed to suffer too. This was to be the last straw and I'm happy to say that last nights experience was a welcomed return to excellent...

Carnegie Inn is one of the most cozy and beautiful hotels I have ever stayed. Everything is so clean and neat. The staff is always trying to make your stay a pleasant one. I have stayed here 6 times and I love it. Breakfast is great and dinner is delicious. Is a WONDERFUL place to stay in State College.

The Carnegie Inn and Spa reminded me of the traditional B&B's one would expect to find in England; Quaint and charming! We were visiting Penn State for the football game so we did not check in until after 9pm and were unfortunately unable to enjoy the full experience of the Inns offerings. However, our room was wonderful! Beautifully decorated with...

My first visit to the Carnegie Inn and Spa was for a business trip. The accommodations were awesome - so comfortable and clean!
