Usually stay at Hampton or Marriott when traveling, but decided we (or I) wanted something different. Saw this in the AAA book and decided to try even though we passed by quite a few motels. It is not far from the highway and it was perfect. Very clean, real good breakfast, and Carol and family were delightful. Mackenzie, their son...

My boyfriend and I have stayed at Quill Haven three times, and we have never had a single complaint. Carol and Rowland are so personable and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are delicious. I especially love Carol's mixed berry and blueberry muffins. I don't know what her secret ingredient is, but each time I...

My friend and I were looking for a place to stay near 7 springs ski resort. We stayed in the ocean view room on the top floor. The room was clean and Carol, the owner was an excellent host. Her blueberry muffins were the best I've had. While the room wasn't 5 star quality (twin bed definitely had some slant...

We traveled to Somerset to celebrate our 50th anniversary and do some family tree research. We picked the perfect place to stay. Our room was special. We always wondered what treats Carol would have for us on the breakfast table. We were never disappointed the food was fabulous. When we needed directions to special sites, Carol was able to help...

We picked this B&B because it was half way between DC and Cleveland and we were delighted with every aspect of the Inn. Food was spectacular and yummy - and with gluten free restrictions too. Room was comfy and the heated mattress covers kept us snug and warm! Great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. And a lovely common room to...

Had wonderful stay in this charming house. Stayed in Rose Room on first floor and it was very clean and cozy. We had a chance to see all the rooms and I wouldn't hesitate staying in any of them. Carol is an excellent cook and it showed with her outstanding breakfasts. Carol was very helpful when we asked about places...

This was the best bed and breakfast experience I have ever had, and could ever ask for. Carol and her family were very gracious, and their care for their home and guests truly shows. The inn is close to a lot of things without being in the hustle and bustle of the main tourist flow, it has a ton of...

I've been a patron of Quill Haven and its wonderful innkeepers since 2004. It is the main place I recommend to friends in two states for a weekend destination. First of all, it is close to everything. Seven Springs, Fallingwater and Fort Ligonier are within easy driving distance as well as several notable restaurants in and out of Somerset. Second,...

Normally we stay at business hotels for the amenities and service. But we'll definitely come back to Quill Haven, which had the best breakfasts ANYWHERE, great rooms with everything you need, and incredibly warm, friendly and helpful owners. Carol is not only a fantastic cook -- who went way out of her way to accommodate my gluten-free diet -- but...
