We were on a trip to Somerset to visit Falling Water. We booked the Glades Pike Inn as it was so convenient. The welcome we received from Janet was amazing. Our son loved Dalai the dog and the cat too. Janet recommended places to eat and things to do. She could not have been more helpful. The rooms are spacious....

On the way back from New York to Cincinnati, we needed a nice place to stay after a nasty experience at an Econolodge and found the Glades on Pennsylvania B&B. We found an historic property beautifully restored and hosted by a wonderful lady named Janet. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean: breakfast, together with other guests, was a feast,...

Our inn keeper, Janet, was friendly and recommended a very good restaurant for dinner. She shared with us the history of the building which was very interesting. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. She offered to wash and dry my bicycling clothes which were wet and dirty from a rain soaked day of bicycling. She provided a hearty breakfast...

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows on June 20th. We had a lovely day and decided very last minute to find a romantic getaway for the night. We found Glades Pike Inn and what a wonderful, perfect place! We called and were told there was a room available for a very fair price (which was a surprise) being...

We stopped over at the Glades Pike Inn the evening before a wedding we were attending in Somerset County. Our room was so homey and pretty with antiques and a fireplace and comfy couch and chairs. In addition to the lovely room there lives a very friendly cat who we invited to visit our room for an hour or so....

Spent a great weekend in the Laurel Highlands with Glades Pike as our base. This inn was first built before the Civil War when stage coaches traveled the Pike so if you a like a little history with your B&B, this is the place. It's a homey and comfortable spot and several of the rooms have fireplaces. Janet is the...

We first stayed here 5 years ago while attending the Mother Earth News Fest. We established lasting friendships at the breakfast table that we are infinitely grateful for. This has become an annual event and we have stayed here every year. The atmosphere is comfortable without being pretentious. It is clean, homey and the food is delicious. Janet makes you...

We stopped here during our cross country move. Janet is just lovely, the inn is just like coming home. We had a lovely room with an incredibly comfy bed and Janet made us a delicious breakfast. We will definitely stay again on our next rip through the highlands.

We stopped here on our way to Michigan with plans to see Fallingwater. Janet was great. She gave us a very nice biking route and a beautiful back roads route to Fallingwater. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Although it is on a main road, it was very quiet at night.

Wonderful overnight stay at Glades Pike Inn. Our room was larger than we had expected, and the furnishings were quality from years ago. Bathroom was well appointed. Extra blankets, quilts, pillows were at hand in the room, and even a stocked fireplace, should we need it. However, the house was comfortably warm despite the bitter cold outside. Didn't feel like...
