Went here for a conference. The grounds in Oct were immaculate. The fall leaves were out, and the flowers were in bloom. The main hotel is very old and historic but nice. We stayed in a cabin which was nice and a nice walk to the main hotel. They have all kinds of family activities and a library bar for...

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Skytop lodge for a supposed winter weekend getaway. We were hoping to partake in all the winter activities but mother nature had another plan and it was almost 70 degrees and no snow to be found. Regardless, skytop offered enough activities to keep us busy. We did a few hikes,...

Six of us staged a family gathering so the grands could spend time with their grandmother before everyone marrying and going in separate directions. Our rooms were nicely appointed but, two of the three had heating and cooling issues. We couldn't use our patio because the doorknob didn't allow us to get back in. The TV remotes had no volume...

Dear Iusemyrealname, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m disappointed that your stay did not meet your expectations. It was a challenging weekend – as you noted, we had a severe thunderstorm which not only caused a power outage, but damage to the surrounding community. Thankfully, our team was able to rally and continue to provide our guests with the...

My friend and I chose Skytop because it was just far enough away to constitute a vacation but not so far that we had to travel a great distance. We each lead busy lives and were looking forward to a little time away to catch up and get some exercise. Our first night we had a complimentary cocktail in the...

A family getaway during school break, who would think that there would be no snow at this time of year. We booked the cottages but changed to the hotel our second night. John, the front desk manager, was so helpful in selecting the perfect room for our family including my 83 year old mom. The Lodge is beautiful and we...

Room was $300 and significantly smaller than my friends room who paid the same rate. While it was unseasonably warm for February our room was so hot sleeping was tough. The front desk offered no help simply saying climate control was seasonal. They couldn't care less. Save yourself re trouble and go elsewhere.

We just spent our first night in a "junior suite" (i.e. Normal size room with king bed and pull out couch). Our two daughters barely slept all night. We could hear the springs creaking every time they moved. The couch reminds me of the one I slept on in my grandmother's apartment .... in the 1980s. Pull-out couches have gotten...

We had a great time with daughter and grandchildren. Lots of pre Christmas fun and activities. Life size ginger bread house and visit with Santa was great. The kids love the arcade and dancing. Upgraded rooms are lovely and atmosphere beautiful.

Our parents came to Skytop Lodge regularly to play golf in the 1970s. This was our first time back since the 1980s and it was wonderful. We arrived early because of the snow and were allowed to go to our room by 2pm. We stayed in the cottages which normally would be a quick walk to the lodge, but because...

I have been coming to Skytop for many years and recently wrote a review about the positive changes the new management had made...except for the dining experience. That review was a year ago and things have changed. I am here to say they have brought their A game to the Windsor Dining Room. My husband and I recently dined there...
