We have a long history of stays at the Red Caboose Motels since 1988. Have seen many changes. The new owners are wonderful people and are working very hard to renovate and update. They really care about the Red Caboose and it shows. This is the 4th Christmas time visit in a row to the Red Caboose and by far...

If you're looking for a great place to get away with your friends - something unique, quaint and unlike anything else, this is the place! Met up with a longtime gal pal and stayed the night, on what was probably one of the windiest nights I've ever experienced as a cold front finally brought a hint of winter to Pennsylvania....

This is a very simple motel to stay at in Lancaster, PA and I highly recommend it for families. The rooms reminded me a little bit of camping in a camper. We slept great though! It was quiet and there was so much to do around the area. We did have breakfast at the restaurant and it was just ok...

I'm writing to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your motel. The Dining car was enjoyed for two mornings in a row for breakfast and one afternoon for lunch. I remembered our waitress from last year (our first year coming to see Thomas) and she was a delight! The food and service was exceptionally good! The caboose...

My family, 4 adults and 2 kids, stopped at the restaurant after visiting Stroudsburg Railroad. The food was just average. We asked if the tuna was albacore and was told yes, but when the sandwich came it was not. I had the roast beef sandwich and the rye bread was not fresh, but wasn't totally stale. Not saying the food...

When we arrived to check in the front desk was very upbeat, friendly and helpful. We found our caboose and was rather surprised by how roomy and cute it was. We wondered back over to the gift shop. It was rather peaceful in the evening. Bought a few things then headed over to the barn to check out the movie....

Good for lunch after a train ride on the Strasburg Railroad. Stay the night and sleep in a caboose! In the heart of Amish country with protected farmland. Several historic places like the oldest turkey farm in the US. Stop at Cherry Hill Farm for more fun and adventure, or one of the shopping stops.

Despite the size being small, which is what you expect when staying in a caboose, the place was very badly renovated. The carpet wasn't tacked down and slid when you stepped on it. The shower was gross with what I can only think was mold in the caulking. One of the AC units was in the bathroom, weird, and the...
