Nestled in the hillside of Pennsylvania is the railroad town of Rockwood, with The Great Allegheny Trail as our destination. On the Allegheny Trail you will find the Husky Haven campground set next to meandering Casselman River. Immaculately clean campsites are stocked with ample firewood each with its own shelter. Hot showers, a bike wash station, laundry room and a...

When we arrived, a card with my name was on the campsite, so there was no question as to where to go. The campsite is clean and exceptionally maintained. We suspected the owner must be former military as everything had that level of orderliness about it. Firewood was neatly stacked by each campsite and covered to keep it dry. Campsites...

Great spot to stop for the night when biking the GAP. We rented the cabin which has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and living area. There's a bike wash area outside and washer / dryer in the basement (3 bucks total). It's located a couple of blocks from the trail, but is close to the train tracks so don't forget ear...

This is a super campground! Firewood already cut, clean campground, a nice showerhouse and recreation room to relax in. Quite frankly, this is one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever camped in, and would highly recommend Husky Haven for anyone who is camping the GAP!

Stopped at Husky Haven on our GAP bikepacking trip. It's a little out of the ordinary in more than one way. The office, shower rooms and bike washing station are across the bridge/river and down a side street, from the trail and actual campground, which is fairly inconvenient. The campground is on the GAP, and next to the river. We...

Great place to stop after a hard day's ride for sure. Not really a log cabin and more like a regular house. Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely use them again. Right around the block from main street and very close to the trail head (.3 miles).

Stayed with a group of friends. Nice clean accommodations for a group on a ride. Enjoyed relaxing in the game room. Simple, clean and convenient. Caters to bikers on the trail. Able to wash and secure the bikes. I would definitely stay again.

Awesome campground. They provide food and even paper if you want to build a fire. The campsites are large and clean. There are covered areas with picnic benches if inclement weather rolls in (which is likely most days!). To take a shower, it's a 4-5 minute ride to the bath house. You can charge your electronics in the office there....

I led a Venture Crew on a bike ride from Cumberland to Pittsburgh. We stayed here on the first night. The campground is very clean, the pavilion was spotless, and there was wood already there for us to have a fire. The host stopped by when we checked in and as we were leaving to make sure everything was great....
