Spent the night at the Iron Rail after touring the railroad sights in Huntingdon. Attractive room with period decor and a wonderful breakfast. They owners had no issue working around special dietary needs and made my stay a thoroughly enjoyable.

We stopped at the Iron Rail because I wanted to visit the town my mother grew up in. The Iron Rail is about the only place to stay in town so I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. After sitting outside for an hour waiting for someone to check us in I finally tried the front door and it...

This was my first time at a B&B and I found it to be very pleasant. The accommodations were very good. The room was clean, the shower fantastic. David and Cindy were eager to please. The breakfast was awesome and filling. The home was built in the 1800's with a few upgrades. It is located near the railroad and set...

Stayed 09 May 2015 for two nights. A quiet little bed and breakfast full of interesting and unusual decorative items. A pleasant area with the trolley museum just across the road. (Although it was closed during our stay) We enjoyed the peace and quiet, sat on the porch watching the world go by. It's a short and pleasant walk to...

Iron Rail Bed and Breakfast in Rockhill, PA- home of the East Broad Top Railroad and Rockhill Trolley Museum. I am a native of this area having relatives and friends employed by the EBT over the years. While I was engaged in cleaning my childhood home in the nearby town of Shirleysburg, I decided to stay at the Iron Rail...

Our family, all six of us recently stayed at the Iron Rail B&B. It is just adorable!!! The house is old and the decorated as such… So much to look at but we mostly sat on the front porch every opportunity we had because it was so cute. We loved this place and will definitely stay there again… Oh, I...

I travelled to Rockhill Furnace to ride on the East Broadtop railroad. I did their engineer for an hour ( fantastic). I found this B&B listed. It is a former railroad executive's home. David that owns the place met me there and was excellent. Very friendly and informative. They do not live there so I had the whole house to...

“The street in the front of the house is a state road and if noise bothers you ( it does not bother me) it might be better to get one towards the back. There are several large trucks going by in the night.”
