We recently held a small evening event here for work. It was the perfect setting and the cost was very reasonable. The food was an even higher quality than we expected and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. If you are looking to hold an event, I would highly recommend holding it at the Stirling.

We stayed 2 nights at the Stirling Guest Hotel for a friend's wedding last weekend, and we loved it! The grounds are beautiful, the buildings are beautiful, and their wedding reception (which was held here in the main house) was beautiful, of course! The property is dog friendly which is very important to us. Our pup made friends with Leo,...

I travel often to Reading for work and I always make a point of staying here instead of at a chain hotel (it's about the same price!.) The grounds are beautiful and I absolutely love the history and character of this hotel. It is beautifully furnished with incredible antiques and decor, absolutely stunning. I have stayed in many different rooms,...

Visiting the Stirling is like visiting another world. From the moment we drove through the front entrance gate, we were transported to another age. The photos on the web do not do this magnificent mansion justice. We stayed two nights in one of the suite rooms. More hot water than we could use, free water each night, gas fireplace, central...

Beautiful venue. Gorgeous flowers. Excellent staff. They make sure all your needs are taken care of. Met one of the owners, always on site, hard at work right beside the staff. We enjoyed amazing food. Our room was immaculate, loft style bedroom in the carriage house.

Beautiful grounds, lots of ambience. The mansion is well kept and very nice. Suited for a smaller wedding. Food was delicious. Only downside was that we were placed in a separate room and could not see the bride and groom from our seats or hear the DJ very well.

This historic home is beautiful and most often used as a wedding location. Our room was large and comfortable and in the morning we had a great made to order breakfast as the only occupants in a very large beautiful dining room. I would definitely stay again if i had a reason to stay in this not very exciting city.

We were going to Reading to attend a concert downtown. This spot was beyond perfect! So close to our venue (The Santander Performing Arts Center), it was just so beyond our expectations that my husband and I couldn't get over the antique authenticity and detailed wonders of the place. Never having been to a European castle, we felt like we...

My wife and I stayed here the evening of 07/20. TJ (owner) was very friendly and the staff was cheerful and pleasant. We had the good fortune of meeting the man who converted this wonderful family home into a B&B. TJ was hosting his birthday celebration. What a fantastic evening! We were treated like friends, not as customers. Everything about...

My husband and I had our wedding at the Stirling in May, and it was absolutely wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful and elegant. The artwork, furniture, and other details are exquisite. We saw all of the rooms in both the mansion and the carriage house, and they are all beautiful. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and found it...
