This place is located right in the town of New Hope... you can park your car and leave it there to shop, eat and drink. The place has cool history and has views of the river. I know that B&B's can be a little shabby...More
My boyfriend and I booked this adorable little room at Porches on a whim after our ski trip got cancelled. We arrived late and Porches called us (seriously) 5 minutes after booking through a 3rd party to confirm and tell us details about the room...More

Love visiting New Hope in the picturesque Bucks County. With 12 eclectic rooms there is a place for all tastes. I’ve visited here with a group of girls before and this time just with my hubby. Wonderful host that serves an amazing breakfast.

By coincidence, I just returned today from another fabulous stay at Porches and asked the owners your question. Room 11, which is in a separate building from the main house, is a lovely room that is ground level and has a seat in the shower. (I stayed in this room on a previous visit and loved it.) All of the beds in all of the rooms are high, however, so depending on the handicap, that might be an issue. There are a few steps (three or four) that must be climbed going into the main house where where breakfast is served on the porch in nice weather and in the dining room off season, but they will also deliver breakfast to your room upon request. I would suggest calling the management with more specific details about the handicap to ensure that Porches is an appropriate accommodation. It certainly is fabulous from all other perspectives!
