We spent a week here and wanted to stay much much longer, but alas had to leave. This is an incredible building that has been renovated beautifully, everywhere you look is something wonderful an, flowers everywhere. But the people really make the Pineapple Hill B&B, Lori will always make you feel welcome and happy, Hillary is so sweet and Kevin very helpful and kind. I have some food restrictions and it wasn't a problem as Lori was incredibly accommodating. If you want a wonderful place to stay in New Hope this is it!
We stayed at the Pineapple Inn for a couple of nights. Everything was super clean and wonderfully decorated. This will 100% be our place to stay whenever we visit New Hope. We can't wait to go back! We really loved it
Such a beautiful property and house - I could have sat on the beautiful porch overlooking the gorgeously manicured grounds all day! The pool, set back behind the house, is enclosed by the 19th century original stone wall that once surrounded a barn. The highlight of our visit, though, was spending time with Lori, the world’s greatest host. She is warm, personable, helpful, and very funny. I loved her!!! She also served us lovely breakfasts, including creme brulee French toast one morning, which was yummy. Highly recommend!
First, the grounds are beautiful. Ridiculous. We could spend days just sitting in the various cool, inviting little spaces around the property: On the front porch, by the waterfall and coy pond, the fire pit, the pool with its amazing stone walls, and so on. Just plain gorgeous. And then there's Lori, who I would have (erroneously, apparently) thought was the owner, given how personally invested she was in making sure we enjoyed our stay. She's simply amazing. I can't say enough about her. Sure, the grounds are beautiful, but she's the reason we felt so at home. The inn is very old. So you should expect that, and the creaks and quirks that come with that. That's part of the charm, not a complaint in any way. You should expect to feel like you're in a 200 year old inn, not a resort hotel. Thas exactly what we wanted and we loved it. But there's also great service, modern amenities, a beautiful, well kept pool; in other words, it's the best of both worlds. This place is a gem and we're so happy we found it. We were in the area for Washington's Crossing and will be back again and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. When we come back, we're going to book extra days so that we have plenty of time to do nothing but enjoy the property.…
Beautiful restored historic house. Very comfortable rooms with all amenities provided. Breakfasts were very unique and delicious. Our host was so friendly and accomodating, as one of my traveling companions is gluten free. Location is a few miles outside Good Hope, but I thoroughly enjoyed being in the beautiful countryside of Bucks County.
This was our third time staying at Pineapple Hill Inn, and the first time staying in the wintertime. We stayed over Valentine's Day for a little romantic getaway. The property is beautiful, with fire pits and a swimming pool on the grounds. The gracious white three-story house is gorgeous. I love the front veranda and the cheerful dining room with a few whimsical pineapple accents. Our hostess, Lori, made us very welcome. We happened to be the only guests on Sunday night, and Lori told us to treat the place as our own. There were sweet heart-shaped cake pops and a champagne split waiting in our room, in addition to coffee and cookies available in the dining room for late night snacking. Our room was delightfully warm, though there was snow outside. We turned on the fireplace for a little while, but quickly became too warm. Enjoyed the flat screens providing television and music in both bedrooms of our suite. Had a great hot shower in the morning, after a peaceful night's sleep in the very comfortable bed. The suite we stayed in - the White Dove - is on the 3rd floor. We have also stayed in the Hummingbird room on the 1st floor and the Purple Martin suite on the 2nd floor. Every room is lovely and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The breakfasts are great. We had fruit for starters - pastry wrapped apples with caramel sauce the first day and grilled pineapple with brown sugar and coconut the second. The second course, Day 1: spinach souffle, bacon and fried potatoes; Day 2: French toast casserole and sausage patties. All delicious, and served with a selection of juices, fresh coffee and assorted tea selections. Go, whenever you can for as long as you can stay. I really did not want to leave.…
We were in the area for a wedding and spent 4 nights at the PHI. We were greeted by the inn keeper, Lori upon arrival and our first impression was, "WOW!" Our first impression was reinforced over and over in the coming days. The place is very old and replete with personality. We expected a nice continental type breakfast, but what we got was much more. The kitchen made all the guests a freshly prepared full breakfast and it was delicious. We had a couple of requests for Lori and they were fulfilled by the time we returned to the Inn each day. (In these trying times we have become accustomed to such requests not being attended to.) To add to the ambiance, it snowed while we were there and the drive was shoveled early the next morning and they even brushed the snow off of my truck. Such attention to detail is hard to find. If you get a chance stay here and you won't regret it.…
We booked the entire Inn for ourselves and our family to stay during our recent wedding weekend. It was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding (which was filled with success stories). We had a micro wedding and the Inn was the perfect size to accommodate all our out of town guests. My parents live up the road so it was convenient for them and my sister an her family staying there to come and be part of the group. Lori was fantastic.. She made everyone feel welcome and everyone raved about her breakfasts (I have admit as the Bride I was having issues eating most of the weekend and only made it down to Breakfast one morning.. and I can confirm it was scrumptious!)..The rooms were lovely and comfortable. Everything lived up to the reviews we had read, and exceeded our expectations. The Pineapple Hill Inn made our wedding extra special by providing a place for everyone to really get to know each other and bond, which is what we wanted. We are so grateful we had this special place for our friends and family for our wedding. We will be coming back in the future.…
My wife and I came here in August for what was probably our tenth stay over the last three years. It was once again a fantastic experience Lori and her staff made our stay absolutely amazing its just like a home away from home.
My husband and I, and 2 other couples went to the Pineapple Hill Inn Bed & Breakfast for the weekend, in early October. This was my 3rd time, and my friend's 4th time staying here. The Inn is very charming and the property is beautiful. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning, and a Saturday evening happy hour which consisted of hot appetizers and wine, all inclusive. We enjoyed the staff tremendously as they are very welcoming and entertaining. Lori, the manager is warm and personable. Lindsey and Sam are very sweet and delightful to be around. All three ladies were very attentive and accommodating. We look forward to going back in 2022 and in the years to come.
