My husband and I went to the Hotel Fauchere for a weekend getaway. What a perfect choice! Right from the beginning, starting with the phone call it was a first class experience! Jason, who we spoke to when we booked our room was very accommodating...More
We stayed for my husband's birthday - and ate at the Delmonico. It was a very memorable dinner, with exquisite quality of the food and service. The room was very clean, the sheets and towels sparkling white. Aside from what we expect for the money,...More
This will be our 3rd weekend getaway in the past 2 years to the Hotel Fauchere and it's better every time. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the rooms are very comfortable, and the food at Bar Louis is delicious. Last night I had...More

I actually don't know if the Hotel itself is open to the public for breakfast. A delicious breakfast was provided for us when we stayed there, but all the food came from next door, the Hotel Fauchere Bakery. The Bakery is open for breakfast and lunch, and has a nice dining room area. The food is marvelous.
The hotel doesn't serve lunch. They have an attached restaurant, Bar Louis. This is an upscale place with very good food. There is also a Delmonico Room restaurant in the Hotel, another quite upscale establishment, but this is only open on weekends.

Grey Towers - right in Milford - is pretty spectacular. A must visit/see. Peters Valley Craft Center is about 10 miles from Milford and that's wonderful. We have numerous waterfalls - some are truly deeply breathtaking. We have a grand "main" street - BROAD STREET - with shops, and galleries and wonderful artists. The Hotel Fauchere is filled with beauty. Bar Louis is one of my personal favorites, and Bob, the bartender, is a treat and a joy. Badea & Soul (right next to the hotel) offers fabulous massages and facials if you're into that kid of pampering. A wonderful restaurant, THE FORK, is in Shohola, which is about 10/15 minutes outside of milford. We also have The Waterwheel restaurant & bar which has great music on thursday nights. The Columns is our historical museum, and that's right across from the Hotel. If you're looking for a bit of a drive - maybe a half hour or so - visit Hawley, and go to the Silk mill, which is now converted into a cool hotel - Ledges - and great shops. Whew, hope this gives you a good idea. Milford is fabulous.
